The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have to figure out his next move – and it won’t be an easy decision. Y&R fans know Kyle recently got confirmation on the son he shares with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Although Tara wants Kyle to just leave this alone and move on with his life, it’ll be tough for Kyle to let go now that he knows he has a kid.
On the flip side, Kyle knows the fallout could be brutal – especially for Harrison Locke. On the March 4 episode, Kyle worries to Summer Newman (Hunter King) about what might happen if Ashland Locke (Paul Burgi) finds out Harrison isn’t really his son.
Kyle frets over the possibility that Ashland might reject Harrison.
That’s something Kyle fears could scar Harrison for life, so Kyle hates the idea of being the reason this little boy loses the only father he’s ever known. Harrison is just an innocent child, so Kyle certainly doesn’t want to damage the kid or turn his world upside down.
Even so, Harrison is an Abbott – and part of Kyle will want to make his son a real part of the family. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this will remain a real dilemma for Kyle, but he may not even have to make a firm decision if Ashland figures out the truth another way.
Whatever the case, we should at least consider the idea that Kyle’s fears will be proven right – that Ashland will reject Harrison and no longer want anything to do with him. Ashland is going to be furious with Tara for deceiving him – and Y&R’s really been highlighting how ruthless this guy is.
If Ashland is such a rotten man, he could easily abandon Harrison over the news that they’re not related by blood. With Ashland out of the picture, that could force Kyle to step up as Harrison’s daddy.
As for Tara, it probably wouldn’t be too hard for Y&R to get her out of the picture through something like a mental breakdown or an untimely death.
Bottom line, the show has a great opportunity to slide Summer into an instant mom type of role right along with Kyle. It’d be fun to see “Skyle” tackle some parenting adventures together.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will eventually have a chance to meet Harrison and hopefully raise him with Summer by his side. We’ll provide updates as other details emerge.
