The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will score himself an exclusive interview with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will object as his brother pushes for a hot Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) scoop.
Y&R fans can expect Jack to show off his protective side during the week of June 28-July 2. Jack has great sympathy for Tara since he knows nothing about her shady behavior.
Jack won’t like it when Billy comes sniffing around trying to make trouble, but Billy will just want to share the truth with ChancComm’s readers.
Billy will get wind of Ashland’s health crisis and hope he can convince Tara to share the story. He’ll argue that it’d be better to set the record straight, but Jack will think his brother needs to back off.
However, Tara will assure Jack that she’s willing to talk to Billy. She’ll sit down for this interview, but that’s only because she’ll intend to play dumb about what she knows.
Tara will act like this conversation is going to be a big waste of Billy’s time. She’ll claim she has no inside knowledge of Ashland’s health status, though she’ll be nice about it when she brushes off Billy’s questions.
Of course, Billy will be able to see through the act and determine that Tara is lying. He’ll realize Tara may have some ulterior motives when it comes to making herself part of the Abbott clan as well.
Tara won’t give Billy anything noteworthy he can publish, but he won’t give up. He’ll definitely get the feeling that Tara is keeping secrets – perhaps beyond just hiding what she knows about Ashland’s health.
Could the pursuit of one scoop lead to the discovery of another? Time will tell, but it’s worth noting that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will push Billy for a favor soon.
It’s possible Billy’s investigation will lead to a hunch that Tara drove Summer out of town, so we’ll see just how much he uncovers.
