The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) private investigator could follow Ben “Stitch” Rayburn’s (Sean Carrigan) trail. Will this be the first step toward the kidnapper’s downfall?
All signs point to Stitch being the person behind Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) horrible ordeal, but someone has to put the work in and bring that secret to light.
Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) is an excellent PI who’s on the verge of retiring, but Y&R spoilers say Devon will hope she’s willing to help on one more case.
It makes sense that the case will involve the search for Mariah since Devon’s involved as the baby’s bio dad. Not to mention Mariah is Devon’s close friend!
The longer Mariah stays away and offers these flimsy text message excuses, the more concerned Devon will be.
Mariah’s behavior isn’t adding up, so Devon may hope Denise can track Mariah down. Of course, the real story here is uncovering the reason for Mariah’s vanishing act and exposing the person responsible.
Denise might gather information and realize Stitch resurfaced right before Mariah went missing.
There’s also the matter of Stitch’s lie about his new job at the hospital.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was just promoted to chief of surgery, so Stitch was apparently deceiving Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) about returning to work at Memorial.
Once Devon catches onto that lie, he may pass the info along to Denise. Those who knew Stitch before obviously don’t think he’d be capable of doing something as terrible as holding Mariah hostage.
However, Denise has no connection to Stitch and may be more willing to look at him as the potential villain in all this.
Will Denise be the one to follow Stitch’s shady trail and figure out he’s off his rocker? Stitch clearly has some issues – and those issues may have driven him to kidnap Mariah along with Abby’s unborn child.
It looks like Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will find herself held hostage with Mariah soon enough, so that could make Denise’s work on this case doubly important!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will count on Denise to come through for him, so stay tuned to see if she delivers results.
