The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will soon drop a bomb on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – one that’ll affect Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as well.
Some Y&R fans have never felt like Elena was all that into Nate. In some ways, it always seemed like Elena was trying to force this romance.
Nate is clearly on board, but Elena’s always dreaming of Devon and fantasizing about what might’ve been. It turns out there’s a reason that goes beyond guilt and being hung up on her ex – and Elena will reveal that reason during the week of January 25-29.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that an ice storm will hit Genoa City. This has become a familiar winter trope for Y&R, but it gets the job done! Elena will end up riding out the storm at Devon’s place after she drops by a package addressed to him.
Devon won’t want Elena going back out in the storm, so she’ll remain at the penthouse and open up to her former flame. There’ll be some close moments as Elena makes a huge confession. Elena will come clean about not having real feelings for Nate – at least not more than friendly ones.
As far as the cheating goes, Elena will insist she only slept with Nate because she was feeling abandoned in her own relationship. Elena was terrified of losing Devon to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and let her insecurities drive her to make a monumental mistake.
However, Elena will assure Devon that it was just that – a mistake. She’ll also believe it was a mistake to let go of what they shared. Elena has been trying to make things work with Nate, but he’s just a nice guy who’s standing in for the man she really wants. It’s Devon that Elena still desires deep down.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will prove that after she moves in for a steamy kiss! Elena will plant one on Devon in the week ahead, so this certainly complicates the situation. Elena cheated on Devon with Nate, but now she’ll be cheating on Nate with Devon!
It doesn’t look like Elena and Devon will go beyond kissing, but this is still a betrayal. Of course, Elena may not get the response she’s hoping for from Devon. He was hurt deeply by Elena’s actions and has already grown closer to Amanda.
The fact that this night seemingly ends with the kiss says a lot. It could be a sign that Devon will shut things down and push Elena away. Whatever the case, Elena’s love life will be a total mess by the end of all this.
She’ll wind up wrestling with a major secret – presumably involving this forbidden “Elevon” kiss that Elena hides from Nate!
