The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) could use a love interest – maybe even one to fight over in an exciting new love triangle! Back when Faith was in boarding school, she had a crush on a boy in her class.
Faith got some advice from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Summer Newman (Hunter King), but she was never able to pursue a teen romance.
Of course, a lot’s happened in Faith’s life since then. Faith had to deal with Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) cancer battle along with the bullying that resulted from the Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) exposé.
Jordan (Madison Thompson) is also dragging Faith down a problematic path of drinking and partying, but maybe dating will finally be on the horizon for Faith in the months ahead.
In the December 14 episode, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) mentions that his 16-year-old brother, Moses Winters, is thinking about finishing out high school in Genoa City.
Moses is interested in medicine and might become a doctor one day, so Devon pitches the idea of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) being Moses’ mentor.
Could Moses be the perfect guy for Faith? He’s part of the Winters family, so you know he must have a good heart like Devon and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John)! Moses might actually be a good influence on Faith rather than a negative one like Jordan.
On New Year’s Eve, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) suggested she would put Faith to work in Society’s kitchen just as soon as she turns 16. That tells us Faith isn’t too far away from being the same age as 16-year-old Moses.
The Young and the Restless certainly seems to be dropping Moses’ name in ahead of a recast’s debut. The goal may be to build a little teen scene. Jordan is a manipulative “friend” who seems to enjoy stirring the pot.
There’s the potential for Faith and Jordan to fight over Moses if Jordan winds up interested in him, too.
Honestly, a young man from the Winters fam who wants to be a doctor sounds more Faith’s speed! Jordan would be more suited to dating some wild party animal. Even so, Jordan might be jealous of Faith and Moses’ connection. It’s easy to imagine Jordan wanting Moses just so he doesn’t end up with Faith.
Jordan is the vindictive type who would stab Faith in the back without a second thought. Fortunately, this might serve as an opportunity for Faith to open her eyes to Jordan’s bad behavior and find a better bond with Moses. Perhaps Moses could help Faith see that Jordan isn’t such a great pal after all.
Whatever the case, it sounds like Moses will head to Genoa City soon. Y&R fans will be curious to see who’s playing Moses and whether he’ll land in the center of a new teen love triangle! We’ll offer updates as other news becomes available.
