The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 9, tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will worry about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and the growing threat that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) poses.
However, Summer will have to dash off and put out another fire since Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) has become so concerned about her feud with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
When Summer meets up with Lauren, she’ll no doubt offer a very different side of the story than Sally. Y&R fans know Sally tried to play the victim and insisted she simply sought an insurance policy after Summer made the first move by digging for dirt.
That’s not exactly true since Sally got dirt from Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) first regarding Summer’s weak spot. Sally made Summer paranoid about going after her boyfriend and her job, so that led to Summer’s LA trip and escalated the feud.
Of course, Lauren will care less about how the feud started and more about how to end it. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren will play hardball and offer a drastic solution.
Summer probably isn’t going to like this, but she’ll no doubt do whatever it takes to keep her position at JCV secure – even if it means surrendering to Lauren’s ultimatum regarding Sally.
Meanwhile, Sally will feel backed into a corner following Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) demand for the truth. Jack wants total transparency, but just how much will Sally reveal?
Telling the truth isn’t exactly Sally’s strong suit, so something tells us she’ll only reveal as much as she has to! Sally will want to keep the damage to a minimum, so we’ll see what this confession really sounds like.
Next, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will pay Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) a visit and get a big surprise. This visit will end with a bombshell, so it seems Nick will find out Chelsea’s recovery isn’t as stalled as it seems to be.
Nick may be the reason why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finds out about Chelsea’s deception since Victor will confront Chelsea next week! We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news and updates roll in.
