The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 27, tease that Baby Bowie’s birth will begin right as Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) race to save Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to in Friday’s drama-filled show.
Mariah has been dealing with some excruciating contractions in captivity, but her attempts to get the kidnapper’s attention have been unsuccessful.
Bowie is ready to come out, so Mariah will be prepared for a solo delivery. She’ll worry about everything that could go wrong and will dread doing this alone, but she’ll feel like she has no other choice.
Fortunately, Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will likely confess where Mariah is.
Abby breaks down in tears on Thursday as she pleads for pregnant Mariah’s location. Stitch seems ready to come clean, so it looks like that’s what he’ll do on Friday, August 27.
There’s no word yet on Stitch’s fate following this kidnapping fiasco, but what matters right now is that Mariah is in labor.
Abby can sense trouble due to her connection with the baby, so she’ll remain fearful as she fills Devon in on what she’s learned.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will make a jaw-dropping discovery, so he may arrive first and get the door open.
Imagine Devon’s shock when he sees that Mariah’s having this baby right there in front of him!
Abby won’t be far behind and will ultimately take control of the chaotic situation. She’ll realize she needs to be the one to deliver the baby, so she’ll get started and hope for the best!
Mariah will be relieved to see Devon and Abby, but she’ll know she’s not out of the woods yet due to this difficult delivery.
Of course, the news of Stitch’s kidnapping plot should start to spread. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will certainly need to be brought in the loop.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) won’t make it to Mariah’s location just yet, so maybe he’ll be busy trying to arrest Stitch while other backup and paramedics head Mariah’s way.
Regardless, Mariah won’t be able to have the hospital delivery she was hoping for! We’ll provide updates as other details emerge.
