The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 19, tease that Genoa City will celebrate a belated Valentine’s Day. Love will be in the air for some happy couples, including Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Y&R fans can undoubtedly expect Nick and Phyllis to do what they do best: sleep together and talk about their family drama.
Phyllis will hope to set the mood when she springs a steamy surprise on Nick. He certainly won’t complain and will make sure Phyllis gets the hot Valentine’s Day she’s looking for, too. There should also be some lovey-dovey “Phick” scenes where they express their deep feelings and appreciation for each other.
Of course, Phyllis will still be worried about all the issues going on with Summer Newman (Hunter King). Nick will battle concerns about Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Sharon Rosales as well.
Even so, the Valentine’s Day fun should serve as a good distraction from everything else Nick and Phyllis have on their minds. They may ultimately resolve to put their problems on hold and focus on each other.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll interrupt Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) own lovey-dovey time with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will barge in and become a Valentine’s Day crasher, but it seems she’ll have a good reason why.
Victoria’s about to face pressure from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who’ll want to make Billy pay for the exposé on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor will also want to give Newman Enterprises a boost by acquiring a particular media company that Billy’s had his eye on.
In other words, Victor will want Victoria to snatch it up before Billy gets it.
Victoria will think Victor’s too motivated by revenge and not really thinking this through. She probably won’t see any need for this media company, so she’ll try to nix the idea. Even so, Victoria knows her father is a relentless man who’ll find a way to make trouble for Billy one way or another.
It seems Victoria’s Valentine’s Day crashing will happen so she can warn Billy about the Victor storm that’s brewing. Speaking of storms, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have the recent ice storm on her mind.
Elena surrendered to temptation with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that night – and now Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has ended things until Elena can figure out what she really wants.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will deliver an apology on Thursday. She’ll work to make things right with someone, so will it be Devon? Elena may determine that Nate was right – that she’ll never be able to give Nate her whole heart.
Perhaps Elena will argue that her heart still belongs to Devon and wonder if there’s still a future for them. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will be torn once Monday rolls around, so he may struggle to decide whether it’s Elena or Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that he truly wants.
Devon assured Amanda that she wasn’t a rebound, so how’s it going to look if he drops her the second Elena wants him back? Not good, that’s for sure!
If Elena indeed ends up pleading for another chance on this Genoa City Valentine’s Day, Devon may need some time to mull over his options.
