The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 29, tease Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will take his friendship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to a deeper level.
Sally arrives at the Abbott mansion at the end of Thursday’s episode – just in time for the ice storm to get pretty bad outside. Jack urges Sally to settle in with her tea since she’s going to be there for a while, but Sally doesn’t seem to mind.
On Friday, Sally and Jack will have a lovely exchange that draws them to each other. Jack and Sally may see that they have some surprising things in common. Of course, there may be some embarrassing stories of the past and confessions about regrets.
By the end of this conversation, Jack should find Sally even more gorgeous, charming and kind.
Jack’s kidding himself if he thinks he’s only interested in Sally as a friend. The same goes for Sally, who seems to appreciate Jack’s maturity and dependability.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack and Sally’s bond will grow in the coming weeks, but Friday’s crackling chemistry should set the stage for what’s to come.
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will make the most of a night at the office. Since they’ll remain stuck during the ice storm, Summer and Kyle will play some games and enjoy more passionate moments.
There’ll be plenty of steaminess going on despite the cold weather outside!
Summer will reflect on her solid relationship with Kyle and express her gratitude for being past all the drama. Y&R spoilers say Summer will be glad there aren’t any secrets like Sally’s to get in their way. Unfortunately, it turns out there’s one after all.
Kyle will seem unsettled as he mulls over a New York City memory that haunts him. It’s a secret that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) knows about and will deliver to Sally in the week ahead, February 1-5.
While we wait on that whopper, let’s talk about Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Devon puts Elena on the spot in Thursday’s episode and wants to know when she first developed feelings for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Elena tries to avoid the question by leaving, but her car issues prevent that departure.
On Friday, Elena will finally answer the question – and the truth will certainly catch Devon off guard. Elena will divulge that her feelings for Nate weren’t more than friendly.
She only cheated to fill the void Devon left when he began fixating on Amanda Sinclair (Misael Morgan). After Elena locks lips with Devon, it looks like they’ll surrender to temptation and make love.
Next, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will find themselves in familiar territory. They recently had some fun moments during a snow day with the kids.
Friday may add to this feeling of being a united family – leaving Victoria to wonder if a “Villy” fam reunion should and could happen.
As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he’ll find a vodka bottle cap at the cottage within the next episode or two. Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will get busted for drinking again, so that’ll lead Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to worry about how to stop Faith’s path of destruction.
