The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 12, reveals that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) fraud story will go public while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is presented with a custody petition decision. Here’s what Y&R viewers can expect in Friday’s shocking episode.
At ChancComm, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will feel like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are both hiding something.
After Billy finally admits Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) sought them out for protection, he’ll allude to a bargaining chip and leave Rey even more concerned.
Rey will remind Billy that blackmail is a crime – and so is withholding information that could be pertinent to an official investigation. Billy will insist there’s no need for Rey to be involved in this, so Rey will hope that Billy’s right.
At Newman Media, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be annoyed over Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) barging in his office to pester him with questions about the war with ChancComm.
Adam won’t think this is any of Sally’s business, but she’ll disagree since she works there.
Sally won’t want to see her dreams go up in flames, but Adam will tell Sally to stay in her lane. Although Adam will admit something is set to happen quickly, he’ll push Sally to just trust him.
Later, Lily will freak over a discovery she makes on her phone. She’ll demand to know if Billy released the forged letter story behind her back, but Billy will promise he didn’t.
Lily will insist it’s all out there now and has been published on one of ChancComm’s news sites.
Billy will assure Lily that not even the senior editors had the authorization to do this without approval.
Lily will fly into a rage since they just launched a rocket at Ashland and Newman Media. She’ll wonder how that happened without them even knowing about it!
Meanwhile, the story will create buzz around town as Rey checks it out. Sally will also read the article on her phone while Adam smiles smugly at his tablet.
The headline will note that fraud and theft were the key to the Locke fortune, but it’ll be obvious that Adam made sure this story went public.
At the penthouse, Devon will talk to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about planning a grandparent meeting – just to make sure everyone’s on the same page about what’s best for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.
Amanda will be hesitant to bring this up, but she’ll point out it might be a good time to revisit the paternity and surrogacy contracts.
If anything happened that prevented Abby from being Dominic’s primary caregiver, custody would shift to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) or Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Amanda will ask if Devon would like to use this opportunity to change that. After Amanda acknowledges Devon’s biological connection to Dominic, she’ll wonder if Devon would like to be able to petition for custody if anything happened to Abby.
Devon will get uncomfortable as he insists this is Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) child. He’ll argue that he has total confidence in Abby as both a parent and his friend.
Devon won’t see why they should change anything if it’s not necessary, so Amanda will apologize if she overstepped and went too far in lawyer mode.
Devon will reassure Amanda before he joins Abby and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) at the Chancellor mansion. Despite Nina’s grief, she’ll still find joy in giving Dominic a bath.
Abby will wish she could give Dominic more than her tears right now, but Devon will feel like Abby needs to lean on her support system. He’ll want Abby to remember she’s not alone.
At Society, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) will raise a glass to Amanda for standing up to Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) and getting justice for her father.
Naya will give Amanda a heartfelt apology for abandoning her and will want to focus on getting to know the incredible woman she is now.
After Naya talks about how much Amanda changed her, she’ll embrace her daughter in a sweet moment. Amanda will reconvene with Devon and fill him in, so he’ll be happy things are going well in Amanda’s life.
Devon will mention that he told Abby about the importance of leaning on others, but Amanda will know how hard that can be.
Back at the Chancellor mansion, Abby will sit by Dominic’s bassinet and fret over his first lesson being that life is unfair. Abby will wonder if the pain and emptiness she’s feeling will last forever.
Finally, Abby will load Dominic up in the stroller and show up at Devon’s place. She’ll surprise Devon by insisting he was right – that she can’t do this alone.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby’s going to make more stunning moves soon enough.
