The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) welcome to the family party will bring Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) golden opportunity. Daddy Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be pulled closer through this special gathering and all the love he’s feeling in his heart.
Of course, Kyle will continue to miss Summer Newman (Hunter King) and wonder how his relationship could’ve turned into such a disaster.
One minute Kyle was happily planning his wedding to Summer and the next she was dumping him before dashing off to Italy. It was enough to make Kyle’s head spin – and now he’s left to pick up the broken pieces of his demolished life.
Tara has made it clear that she’s more than willing to help with that. Y&R spoilers say Tara will keep finding ways to console Kyle as she works to reestablish their bond. This Abbott family get-together will certainly help Tara with her goal.
The more Harrison becomes a true Abbott, the more tied to the Abbotts his mother will become. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has assured Tara that she’s part of the family now, too.
Jack will most likely repeat the sentiment in a speech at the upcoming party – and Kyle will also want to make sure Tara feels a sense of acceptance.
Now that Summer has left him, Kyle has good reasons to focus on Harrison and Tara. He feels like his future with Summer has been destroyed forever, so Kyle has to think about what a new future with Tara and their son will look like.
Kyle and Tara have a history to work with, so there’s the potential for something to reignite between them. Even if Kyle doesn’t fall in love with Tara, he adores Harrison. The idea of a united family might be too appealing to pass up.
A stable two-parent home and a wealthy, devoted husband are definitely on Tara’s list of goals here. Kyle can make all Tara’s dreams come true, but she has to fight for what she wants.
Harrison’s welcome to the family bash will give Tara a chance to make progress, so we’ll pass along updates as other news comes in.
