The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 22, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will feel like his past is haunting him. Kyle had hoped to put his wild New York days behind him, but his affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) may have resulted in a son.
Tara warned Kyle not to contact her again, but he won’t be able to get his potential child off his mind.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) both noticed Kyle was distracted recently, but he was able to brush them off. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), however, will be far tougher to get off his back.
Since Mariah’s bound to notice something’s up and won’t let it go, Kyle will ask if he can tell her something in confidence.
Kyle will make it clear that no one can know what he’s about to tell Mariah, so she’ll probably admit he’s starting to scare her! Mariah will know this must be a big deal, so she’ll brace for whatever bomb Kyle’s about to drop.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will confess about the affair and Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) info about three-year-old Harrison Locke.
Mariah may agree that Theo isn’t the most reliable source, but she’ll also know he might be right this time around. Since Mariah knows secrets can cause serious relationship issues, she’ll insist honesty is the best policy.
Mariah will make it clear that Kyle’s playing with fire if he doesn’t come clean to Summer ASAP.
At some point in the next episode or two, Summer will spot Harrison’s picture on Kyle’s laptop. Kyle will end up covering with some excuse since he’ll want to gather more info from Tara before he comes clean.
In the meantime, Summer will have a chat with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) about her suspension from school and the vodka that was found in her locker.
Just like with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Faith will promise Summer that she was set up. Summer may face a bit of a dilemma as she decides what to believe, but she’ll probably be on Faith’s side.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Faith will receive a stunning text message. A steamy pic of Sharon and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) recent kiss will show up on Faith’s phone and leave her furious.
Faith will shock Sharon with the evidence of the “Shadam” smooch and rip into her mom with everything she’s got.
While Sharon panics over this betrayal proof, Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) loyalty will be put to the test.
That could involve being torn between Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), but it could also tie in with Devon’s growing desire to help Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) fulfill her baby dream.
Devon’s going to offer up a sperm donation to Abby in the week ahead, February 22-26, so Monday might lead him to think about whether friendship is worth walking away from his child.
That baby would be Devon’s flesh and blood, so he’d be watching Abby raise his son or daughter with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
Devon will apparently decide he can live with that and put Abby’s happiness first. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will extend this generous offer in the coming episodes, so Abby will be floored along with Mariah and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast).
