The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, June 7 Recap – Tara Confesses Harrison ER Story – Summer Fast-Tracks Kyle Wedding

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, June 7, reveals that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will confess an injured Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) ER story while Summer Newman (Hunter King) fast-tracks her wedding to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to in Monday’s drama-filled episode.

At Society, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will joke around about business as he flirts with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victoria will suggest that if Ashland wants to really talk and discuss something deeper, she’s willing to listen.

Ashland will eventually admit that he thought things were solid in his marriage to Tara. He really didn’t see divorce in the cards.

Victoria will get how easy it is to view a failed relationship as so much wasted time and effort. She’ll think that sometimes civility is the best revenge. Talk will turn to Tara’s affair as Victoria points out that Ashland is a well-known workaholic.

Victoria will wonder if Tara felt neglected and will suggest that even the best marriages can level off.

Ashland will argue that his first instinct is to say Victoria’s wrong, but she has a way of pulling the painful truth out of him. That said, Ashland won’t take all the blame. He’ll hint about something else Tara did and will insist that Tara is no saint.

Ashland will eventually realize he’s spent the entire evening talking about himself, so he’ll want to hear about Victoria next. Victoria will note that although she values her work, her kids come first.

She’ll tell Ashland some stories before fearing that she’s bored him. Victoria will suggest she just thought Ashland could appreciate the kid content as a father himself.

“I thought I was,” Ashland will say somberly. He’ll decide it’s going to come out publicly anyway, so he’ll confess that he’s not Harrison’s biological father. Victoria will ask who is before it dawns on her that it’s Kyle.

Ashland will wonder how Tara could let him fall in love with a child that wasn’t his. The idea of sharing custody with the man Tara cheated with will seem unbearable.

Ashland will note that he plans to get a DNA test of his own to be sure, but it won’t change his feelings about Harrison no matter the outcome. He’ll insist he’s not walking away.

Victoria will point out that she doesn’t share DNA with her own son either, but she’s his mother and he needs her – just like Harrison needs Ashland.

At Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) new condo, they’ll get ready for Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) arrival.

Lily will remind Billy that this is a social occasion and will warn him not to pump Jack for information – not even to confirm that Tara and Harrison are living at the Abbott mansion.

When Jack arrives, Billy will almost immediately quiz him about his earlier showdown with Ashland. Lily will shut Billy down, but he’ll start back up again later.

Billy won’t get why Jack is being so private about this, but he’ll insist Billy will have to go somewhere else for ChancComm content.

Lily will push Billy to back off – and Jack will agree that’s what his brother should do. Billy will think there’s obviously a story there and will vow to find out what it is. He’ll want Jack to give him one good reason why he should drop this.

“Because it might harm my grandson!” Jack will blurt out. He’ll fill a stunned Lily and Billy in on Kyle being Harrison’s true father, but he’ll point out Harrison is Billy’s family, too.

Billy will argue that he has no intention of doing anything to harm the boy. He’ll think Ashland is a different story entirely, but Jack will counter that any part of this could spill over onto Harrison and cause problems.

When Billy refuses to let it go, Jack will get fed up and storm out. A frustrated Lily will ask if Billy’s happy now. She’ll side with Jack and insist they don’t have to be the ones to break the news.

Lily won’t want to throw gasoline on the fire with an expose, so she’ll get Billy to agree they’re dropping this – but the look on his face will suggest otherwise.

Back at Society, Summer will meet with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and notice Ashland nearby with Victoria. It’ll leave Summer thrown, but Abby will want to talk about Summer. She’ll suspect Summer’s “friend” was actually Summer herself.

Summer will confirm her story was indeed a personal one and will point out that Abby has a young new cousin named Harrison. After Summer admits she truly doesn’t have a handle on all this, she’ll rant about Tara waltzing into their lives with so much uncertainty.

Abby will suggest that even if Tara is drawn to Kyle, that doesn’t mean he reciprocates. Her advice will be to keep an eye on Tara and trust Kyle. Abby will also think Summer needs to show Kyle they’re a team and plan their wedding. She’ll contend that Tara should motivate Summer, not scare her off.

At the Abbott mansion, Tara will admit that her lawyer advised her to give into Ashland’s demands. She’ll note that the prenup is strong, so Ashland holds all the cards.

Tara only came into this marriage with a pretty smile and good taste, so that’s all she’ll leave with. She’ll feel like they know what’s going to happen if she doesn’t do what Ashland wants.

Kyle will protest that Harrison is his son, too. He’ll point out that Tara has her shoe line, but Tara will confess that she’s drowning in debt and has no way of knowing when she’ll make a profit.

Kyle will suggest that he could find something for Tara at JCV or Fenmore’s. He’ll feel like any judge can see that she’s a good mother.

Tara will feel like Ashland might have the ammunition to try to prove that’s not true. She’ll tell a story about leaving Harrison with his former nanny while Ashland was out of town.

The nanny turned her back for a minute and Harrison cut his chin when he fell. Tara raced to the ER as soon as the nanny called, and it turned out to only be a minor cut.

Even so, Ashland throws that in Tara’s face every time he gets angry. Tara will note that Ashland blamed her for not being with Harrison and always uses that incident to act like she’s negligent.

Kyle won’t view that as anything that’d be a big deal to a judge. He’ll argue that Tara is a good mother – that he can see it with his own eyes.

Kyle will want confirmation that there’s nothing else that could be used against Tara. “There’s nothing else,” Tara will promise. At Kyle’s request, Tara will let him tuck Harrison in and read the kid a bedtime story. She’ll gaze at the Daddy-son scene adoringly near the doorway.

In her hotel suite, Summer will order some strawberries, red velvet cupcakes and Champagne. She’ll text Kyle to see when he’s coming home and will hint that it’ll be worth his while. Kyle will text back about Harrison’s bedtime story and will vow to be there as soon as he can.

When Kyle finally makes it back, he’ll appreciate the lingerie Summer has put on for him. Summer will admit she wants to forget all the reasons she suggested for pressing pause.

Summer will want to fast-track their wedding instead, so Kyle will kiss passionately as his way of agreeing.

At the Chancellor mansion, Abby will sit on the staircase and make a video for Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). She’ll talk about how much she misses Chance, but she’ll keep an optimistic attitude and will note that she just gave someone advice.

Abby will ominously note that you never know when love is coming or when you could lose it.

As for Jack, he’ll chat with Tara when he returns to the Abbott mansion. Jack will wonder why family can get under your skin like no other and will realize Tara’s never talked about her own family.

Tara will admit she has a brother in Virginia somewhere, but they’re estranged.

That’s why Tara’s so grateful for the generosity and hospitality Jack has shown. Jack will assure Tara that she’s the ideal guest along with little Harrison. He’ll promise that he loves having them there.

While Kyle’s in the shower, Summer will spot a text from Tara. It’ll talk about how much it meant for Kyle to read Harrison a bedtime story and give Tara his support. Summer will look pensive as she sits in bed waiting for Kyle alone.
