The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, November 15 Recap – Gaines Claims Whole Ashland Story a Lie – Abby Vanishes

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, November 15, reveals that Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) will claim the whole Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) story is a lie while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) vanishes into the night. Here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

At ChancComm, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will summon Marty, who’s been working as the lead investigative journalist on the Ashland story.

Marty will explain that she got an urgent email from Billy telling her to publish the story, but Billy will insist he never sent it.

After Lily asks Marty to forward her the email, Billy will point out that he was obviously hacked. Lily will agree that they have to figure out who knew about the Ashland story and would want the information out there.

When Lily and Billy search Gaines’ room, they’ll find that he’s gone. Lily will rant about how she knew Gaines would go rogue, but Billy won’t be so sure Gaines was responsible for the story going public.

Bill will suspect Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) instead, but Lily will question why they’d shoot themselves in the foot like this.

At Newman Media, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will want to talk to Adam about ChancComm’s scandalous story, but Adam will have somewhere he needs to be.

Adam will end up at the ranch, where he’ll talk to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about their well-executed plan and praise Gaines for playing his role perfectly.

Gaines will grumble about not having a choice in the matter, but Adam will think he needs to get over it since they’re not done yet. Later, Adam will have a little pep in his step when he runs into Sally at Society.

Sally will wonder why since this story isn’t a good look for Newman Media, but Adam will suggest that things aren’t always as they appear.

Adam’s confidence will allay Sally’s fears, but not her curiosity. However, Sally will realize she’s not getting answers right now and will talk Adam into having a drink in honor of whatever put that smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will talk to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about how Billy wanted to hang onto his bargaining chip before.

Rey will be eager to know what changed Billy’s mind and convinced him to publish the story.

At the penthouse, Abby will tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that she’s a trainwreck and can’t give Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor the attention he needs right now.

Abby will push Devon to take Dominic since he’s spent more time with him than anyone and has such a great way with him.

Devon will praise Abby for accepting help, but he’ll seem concerned when she reveals she might need to take some time to herself away from Genoa City.

After Devon brings up Spain and hopes Abby’s not flying there, she’ll insist she may not go anywhere at all.

Abby will note that it was just a thought, but she’ll consider the idea that getting away for a while would help her heal.

In the meantime, Abby will find comfort in knowing that Devon will take good care of Dominic.

Abby will confirm that Amanda and Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) are fine with this before sharing a sad little farewell with the baby.

Once Abby heads home, she’ll inform Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) of her decision to leave Dominic with Devon for the foreseeable future.

An uneasy Ashley will remind Abby that she has lots of people who can help, but Abby will insist this was her idea and will wish her mom could back her up on it.

Victor will arrive and get updates on Abby’s decision as well, so he’ll wonder why she didn’t come to her parents for a discussion about this.

Abby will defend Devon’s connection with Dominic and will feel like it was important to get the baby out of such a sorrowful environment.

Even so, Victor will worry about the emotional toll this separation from the baby could take on Abby.

After Abby says she’s putting Dominic first, she’ll declare that the decision is final. While Abby is resting upstairs, Victor and Ashley will worry Abby’s going to regret this.

Ashley will point out that if Abby shows signs of distress, they’ll just bring Dominic home since it’s not set in stone. Soon after, Abby will slip downstairs in her coat and sneak out of the house – clearly planning to leave town like she talked about.

At the penthouse again, Devon will have a flashback of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) offering advice about fatherhood. After Devon gets reassurance that Amanda is truly OK with taking the baby in, Amanda will point out that Devon is the only father Dominic has ever known.

Later, Devon will sing to Dominic as he feeds him – and Amanda will watch lovingly nearby.

At the coffeehouse, Sharon will reel over Ashland’s empire being built on fraud and will wonder if Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) knew about this. Rey will also mention the civil suits this story could bring about.

Once Billy returns to ChancComm with Lily, he’ll get a text from Victoria calling him a “bastard” and asking why he would do this. Ashland will also text Billy to urge him to line up his team of lawyers. That won’t make sense to Billy since they all know the story is true.

“Because the story is NOT true,” Gaines will declare as he enters the office. He’ll claim he made the whole thing up just to hurt Billy.

After Sally and Adam get their drinks at Society, they’ll share a toast. Sally will be glad what the gossip site published didn’t make Adam skittish about being seen with her.

Sally will suggest she’d hate for there to be any more fallout, so Adam will assume Sally means with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Adam will let Sally know he cleared it all up with Chelsea, but he’ll think it’s important to keep everything above board.

Since Chelsea is Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) mom and will likely be joining the fashion platform soon, Adam won’t want to give Chelsea any reason to suspect there’s anything more going on than there actually is.

Sally will reply that she couldn’t agree more, but she’ll wind up having a flirty, fun conversation with Adam about their childhoods and special talents.

When Rey and Sharon walk in for a date night, they’ll spot Adam and Sally having fun at their table. Rey will ask if Sharon wants to go somewhere else, but Sharon won’t think that’s necessary.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will face more women troubles in the months ahead, so stay tuned.
