The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 18 Update – Billy Deletes Video – Jack Disses Sally – Phyllis & Nick Spar

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 18, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will delete Jesse Gaines’ (Jamison Jones) video – and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will diss Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also spar, so here’s what Monday’s Y&R episode has in store.

At the palazzo, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will complain that sources don’t get to call the shots. Even so, Billy will worry about what’ll happen if they don’t publish within the hour like Gaines wants.

At least if ChancComm ran the story, they could spin things their way. Billy will point out that the world’s going to find out about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) crimes one way or another, but Lily will seem uneasy about being the outlet to run the story.

Thanks to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Ashland will have a chance to confront Gaines in a storage room. Gaines will argue this isn’t about the money; it’s about humiliating Ashland.

However, Ashland will think they were both mistreated by people in their past. He’ll want to move forward and won’t think Gaines even knows what strategy to use against him anymore.

Gaines will act like he wants revenge in every way, but Ashland will feel like his blackmailer already blew it. As Gaines wonders what’s next, he’ll assume that the Newmans are going to turn him over to the authorities or perhaps just make him vanish.

Ashland won’t know for certain what the plan is just yet and will complain about having to think about this on his wedding day.

Ashland will suggest that he’ll figure it out along with the Newmans and leave Gaines to sweat it out a bit longer.

Next, Ashland will seek assurance from Billy that he won’t blow up the secrets of his past. Now that Gaines has been handled and Victoria has made her choice, Ashland will push for Billy’s silence.

Billy will whip out his phone to explain the video that Gaines sent him. He’ll catch Gaines off guard by deleting it and will note that his priority is protecting his relationship with the mother of his children.

Once Ashland heads back to his room, he’ll gush over Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) beauty and admit that Billy surprised him.

Victoria will be glad to hear Billy deleted the video and will kiss Ashland passionately as they celebrate their marriage.

Victor won’t feel their Gaines troubles are over just yet, but he’ll be determined to deal with the problem. When Victor speaks with Adam privately about it, he’ll get his son’s full support on pitching in.

As for Nick, he’ll clash with Phyllis back in his room. Basically, Nick will be allowed to complain about his family, but he won’t like it when Phyllis does the same thing.

Nick will also object when Phyllis suggests Nick and Billy had the same goal, so Phyllis will feel like he’s jumping all over everything she says.

Phyllis will admit she doesn’t like Victoria, but she’ll acknowledge that she’s smart and savvy.

Victoria doesn’t need a knight in shining armor to ride to her rescue, so Phyllis will point that out to Nick.

After Nick reflects on his past and how Victor once tried to control his life, Phyllis will feel like he’s comparing her history to Ashland’s.

Phyllis will wonder if Nick’s implying that she was a mistake, but he’ll deny that and lash out at her.

In other words, Nick and Phyllis will continue to bicker about every little thing that’s said between them. Since Nick will feel like he’s on the outside of the family drama, he’ll decide to confront Victor.

Nick will be upset over Victor relying on Adam, so he’ll corner his father and brother to get a few things straight by the end of the episode.

Once Jack hears Sally designed the wedding dress, he’ll make some rude remarks about the swap scheme and feel like Sally got lucky.

Sally will take umbrage since she worked hard on the gown and made big things happen. She’ll act like it wouldn’t kill Jack to tell her she did a good job, but she’ll admit she doesn’t really care about his opinion.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will also leave a message for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) before confiding in Noah Newman (Rory Gibson).

Noah will be quite sympathetic to Tessa after she opens up about Mariah’s baby struggles. He’ll be taken aback when Tessa reveals Mariah wants them to have a child of their own.

Tessa will confess that’s something she thought would happen further down the line. She won’t think it’s right to have a baby just to help Mariah heal this wound. It’ll help Tessa to cry and unload some of her issues – though Noah will wish he could do more.

After Tessa says she missed having Noah as a friend, he’ll promise that he’s still her friend and always will be. Noah will truly want Tessa and Mariah to be happy in their relationship together.

Victoria will get changed for the reception and will gladly accompany Ashland to the next portion of their wedding festivities.

Ashland and Victoria will get a warm welcome as people snap pics of the newlyweds kissing.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria and Ashland will keep focusing on the future, so stay tuned.
