The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, September 6 Recap – Sally Protects Connor – Ashland’s Donation – Double Agent Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, September 6, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will choose to protect Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) makes a massive donation. Double agent Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also accept his mission, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Crimson Lights, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will fill Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in on Sally being Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) date at the launch party. Victoria will also hear about the ice bucket drama before talk turns to Billy’s relentless pursuit of Ashland dirt.

Victoria will feel like anything Billy comes up with is just going to be overblown in a story. However, Billy will feel like Ashland is hiding something big.

Billy will bring up the two news stations that Ashland bought and will note that there was no record of loans or other investors.

Billy will think that presents questions about the nature of Ashland’s relationship with his older, wealthy female mentor.

Victoria will finally get fed up enough to leave, but she’ll warn Billy to stay out of their lives before she goes.

Nick will catch the end of the conversation and wonder what that was about, so Billy will admit he thinks he struck a nerve.

Billy will mention Ashland’s deal and how he would’ve needed a lot of money when he was just starting out.

Nick will shrug that maybe it was as simple as the mentor privately financing Ashland’s investment to breathe new life into her dead husband’s holdings.

Billy will doubt that and will want Victoria to have all the facts so she can protect herself.

At the hospital, Mariah will seek updates on Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan), but Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) won’t think Stitch would risk showing up again.

Abby will insist Mariah will be safe since there’s extra security at the Chancellor mansion, so Mariah will pipe up that the baby will be safe, too.

In a moment alone with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Mariah will confess that she’s nervous to leave the hospital.

Mariah will know the dynamic is going to change – and she’ll note that she’ll have to remember to call the baby Dominic instead of Bowie. Nevertheless, Mariah will try to tell herself everything will be OK because it has to be.

Later, Mariah will seem uncomfortable as Abby brings Dominic back to the mansion, where he’ll get a little welcome home party and meet some family members.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will all gush over Abby’s new bundle of joy.

Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be on hand as well, but the gathering will turn awkward when Mariah faces questions about her time in captivity.

Tessa will sense that Mariah’s getting overwhelmed, so she’ll whisk her girlfriend away to get some fresh air. Sharon will tell the rest of the partygoers that they can’t disregard the severity of what Mariah’s been through.

At the park, Mariah will admit this is way harder than she thought it’d be.

Mariah won’t be able to fight the fear in the pit of her stomach and will talk about being Dominic’s lifeline while they were locked up. Mariah will note that they helped each other survive and will think Dominic feels that, too.

Back with Abby, she’ll think Dominic feels so perfect in her arms. Abby will promise she’s never going to let anyone take Dominic from her ever again.

After Victor leaves the welcome home bash, he’ll find Billy and Nick at the coffeehouse.

Victor will push Billy to mind his own business when it comes to Victoria and will claim a Newman Media employee tipped him off to Billy’s snooping last night.

After Victor warns Billy not to do that again, Billy will exit – though he’ll want Nick to think about what he said.

Nick will realize Victor lied because he didn’t want Billy to know Nick ratted him out.

Victor will vow to hold off on destroying Billy’s company because they need his information on Ashland. He’ll convince Nick to serve as a double agent and report back with whatever he learns.

Victor will insist he wants to learn everything there is to know before the wedding – that is there’s a wedding at all.

At Society, Ashland will write Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) a massive check to pay for half a surgical wing. He’ll consider it repayment for Nate’s recent kindness and supplements, so Nate will think that’s extremely generous.

Nate will suggest Ashland should at least hear a proper pitch, but Ashland will suggest a dinner to talk shop and other non-medical things, too. They’ll decide to make it a double date since Victoria and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will also be invited.

Soon after, Victoria will appear and get filled in on the dinner idea. She’ll think that sounds lovely, but she’ll remain concerned about Billy being bound and determined to dig up damning info about Ashland’s past.

Once Victoria’s alone at a table with Ashland, she’ll bring up the news stations Billy mentioned during their earlier run-in.

Victoria will wonder if there’s anything Ashland hasn’t told her – anything that Billy might try to use against him.

Victoria will assure Ashland that as the daughter of Victor Newman, nothing will shock her. She’ll point out that there can’t be any secrets between them.

Victoria will want Ashland to trust her and be completely honest, but he’ll insist he trusts Victoria with his life.

Although Ashland has been ruthless, he’ll insist that he’s never broken the law.

Ashland will defy Billy or anyone else to prove otherwise, but Victoria will seem uneasy.

At ChancComm, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be irritated when Elena mentions Victor trying to poach her.

Elena will argue that she never entertained Victor’s offer and is signing the ChancComm contract, so she won’t see any reason for Lily to be upset.

Elena will start to ask Lily a question, but she’ll back out since it might be intrusive. She’ll act like it’s inappropriate now that Lily is her boss.

Lily will decide it’s time for them to be off the clock, so they’ll end up having some long overdue girl talk at the coffeehouse.

At the park, Adam will come up behind Sally in her workout clothes and will check her out.

Sally will seemingly notice before they establish that they’re past the awkwardness of last night. After Sally brings up the idea of having dinner together, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will appear.

Once Chloe learns about the fight between Sally and Phyllis at the launch party, Adam will urge Chloe to ask about Sally’s idea before taking off.

Chloe will think she knows what the idea is, so Sally will shut down whatever Chloe’s insinuating.

Sally will admit that a kiss happened, but that was the extent of how hot things got.

Sally will admit Adam was the one who slammed the brakes and said he was toxic. Chloe will push Sally to believe Adam and won’t know why Sally would want to be with a difficult person.

Speaking from experience, Chloe will think a healthy relationship is like playing everything on easy mode. Sally will think that sounds a little boring – no offense!

Since it’ll be obvious Sally isn’t going to take her advice, Chloe will leave her with one last warning.

Chloe will bring up Connor and how he hasn’t had an easy life. Chloe will note that Connor still thinks his parents are in a relationship, so Sally’s connection with Adam could get messier.

Sally will nod in understanding – and later, she’ll corner Adam again to suggest hitting the reset button.

Sally will want to go back to how things were before the kiss, so Adam will assume Chloe’s behind this change of heart.

Sally will note that Adam’s little boy is the real reason, so he’ll admit Connor comes first and will get that the reset button idea makes it easier.

Adam will guess dinner is off then, but Sally won’t see the harm in turning it into a working dinner.

After Adam gets a call, he’ll note that it’s from Chelsea and dash off to take it. That’ll leave Sally standing there deep in thought.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Adam’s bond will remain complex, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
