The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for Friday, June 18, reveals that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will warn Summer Newman (Hunter King) to leave the country or Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will never see Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) again!
Thursday’s show will set the stage for Tara’s harsh ultimatum, but Friday’s Y&R episode is when Tara will drop this bomb. It’ll come as quite a shock to Summer, who’ll quickly snap that it sounds more like a threat than a proposition.
Of course, Tara may argue that Summer can call it whatever she likes. The point is Tara’s threatening to ban Kyle from Harrison’s life unless Summer leaves the United States completely. Summer may fight back by suggesting she’ll rat Tara out to Kyle – effectively killing her chances of reuniting with him, which is obviously what Tara wants.
However, Tara might come prepared for that counterattack. Perhaps Tara will insist Summer can’t breathe a word of this conversation to Kyle or else the same consequences will result.
Regardless, Summer will be thrown for a loop and will have to figure out how she’s going to handle this. Her decision could get a bit easier thanks to some good news that’s headed her way.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has arranged for Summer to get an enticing job offer in Milan – one that’s almost too tempting to pass up anyway.
Between Tara’s awful threat and this incredible opportunity in Italy, Summer will have two great reasons to leave Kyle behind. Even if Summer calls Tara’s bluff, she’ll have to wonder if her rival might actually go through with cutting Kyle out.
Tara is a wildcard who can’t be trusted, so Summer will have to make a difficult decision and do what she feels is best for Kyle as well as Harrison.
In the meantime, Kyle will enjoy some playtime with Harrison in the park and will get some solid guidance from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
As for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she still won’t have heard back following her disconnected call with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
Abby will worry along with Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), so look for them to turn to Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) for help. Christine will do what she can to find Chance and spill what she’s allowed to spill, but she may not have positive updates to pass along.
