The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could uncover Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) paternity trick and realize Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) isn’t Daddy after all! Will Sally realize things aren’t as they seem and be forced to decide if she’ll spill the secret?
Y&R fans know there have been major hints about Tara not being trustworthy. Kyle always rushes to Tara’s defense, but this is a woman who’s lied to him before and may be doing it again.
Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) made sure he had an ironclad prenup, so Tara may have realized her cushy lifestyle was about to be in jeopardy.
Plus, Tara obviously had legitimate concerns about Ashland being powerful enough to take away custody of Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).
There’s no denying that Tara would have a motive to make sure the DNA results said Kyle was Harrison’s bio dad instead. This way Ashland doesn’t have as much power in the custody case AND Tara still gets to keep the rich lifestyle she’s become accustomed to.
Harrison also happens to have a wonderful family who already adores him now. Tara even has a chance to rekindle things with a younger man who’s sweet and wants to be there for Harrison.
There’s no downside to paternity manipulation for Tara as long as she doesn’t get caught.
If Tara indeed manipulated the situation and has merely deceived Kyle into thinking he’s Harrison’s true father, that means she’s bound to get busted sooner or later. Sally would be the ideal person to uncover that secret.
It’s easy to imagine Sally lurking and eavesdropping as she tends to do. Sally might determine that Tara’s lying to Kyle and become the keeper of a major secret. Naturally, Sally would probably want to work whatever angle she felt would benefit her most.
That information would be worth a great deal to Ashland and might get more of Sally’s wishes granted. On the other hand, having Kyle and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) relationship stuck in so much turmoil has to be appealing to Sally.
Sally might be tempted to just keep her mouth shut and see what other damage might happen.
However, Sally isn’t completely heartless and might feel the need to come forward due to her feelings for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Jack’s already getting attached to little Harrison as his grandson – and Harrison’s own feelings are being manipulated as well.
This is just an innocent child, so Sally might not be too keen on letting Tara spread lies and hurt Jack along with Harrison. Despite Jack’s treatment of Sally, she admitted her love wasn’t going away.
That love could affect what Sally decides to do if Tara made sure the paternity results were tampered with and Sally finds out the truth!
