The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) JCV takeover plot could backfire. Will Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) realize Sally is up to no good again and toss the sneaky Spectra out for targeting Summer Newman (Hunter King)?
Lauren made it crystal clear that there couldn’t be a next time when it came to scheming. She gave both Summer and Sally lectures before bringing them together for a crucial meeting. Lauren pushed for this feud to end and promised consequences if it didn’t.
There’s definitely only one strike left, so fans can expect Sally to land in big trouble if she crosses Lauren again. In other words, Sally’s going to get fired if she gets caught plotting behind Lauren’s back.
There doesn’t seem to be any way around that. Lauren can’t keep putting up with all the plots when she’s got a business empire to worry about.
Sally’s counting on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to arrange an offer that Summer can’t refuse – one at a fashion house far away from Genoa City. Ashland should make sure his name stays out of it.
That way Summer will think she’s getting this offer based on her own skills and talent.
However, Summer should be wary of leaving town when Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is obviously trying to pounce on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). A long-distance relationship is the last thing Kyle and Summer need right now.
There’s no guarantee Summer will go along with the job offer she receives, so Sally may have to up the ante somehow. She still wants to run JCV, but she’ll be playing with fire as she keeps scheming to lock in that position.
Sally is a fun troublemaker who’s injected some much-needed life into Y&R, but troublemakers tend to make bad decisions and face disappointing outcomes in the end. Will Sally get fired once all this inevitably blows up in her face?
If so, that might open the door for resourceful Sally to look elsewhere for work in GC and start interacting with some new characters. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news becomes available.
