The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will know what he has to do. Ever since Kyle found out he might have a child with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), he’s been trying to keep the truth under wraps.
Kyle clearly has major concerns about Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) reaction and how this might affect his relationship.
However, Kyle has really made some poor decisions in how he’s handled all this. It’s not like Kyle has been keeping this kid a secret since he was born. Kyle had no idea that Harrison Locke existed, so it’s not Kyle’s fault that Tara hid this from him.
The moment Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) offered updates on Harrison, Kyle should’ve told Summer everything. Instead, Kyle chose to confess the affair and leave out the most important part of the story!
That decision’s going to come back to haunt Kyle once he’s forced to do what he’s been dreading, which is come clean completely.
After Tara pays Kyle a visit in Genoa City and warns him to stop pursuing this, Kyle will stand up to his former flame. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will vow to get the truth about Harrison one way or another.
If Harrison is indeed Kyle’s son, he’ll have no intention of turning his back on him. Kyle will want Harrison to be a true Abbott and part of his family.
With that in mind, Y&R spoilers say Kyle will do whatever it takes to get a DNA test. Kyle will want to know the facts, but he’ll also worry about what’ll happen if that DNA test indeed proves he’s Harrison’s father.
There’ll be concerns about Summer freaking out over the kid and all this baggage with Tara. Kyle will fret over Summer walking away once a child complicates their romantic situation.
Unfortunately, those aren’t really the things Kyle should be most worried about here. Again, everything would’ve been fine if Kyle had just told Summer the truth from the get-go.
Summer would’ve told Kyle they’d tackle this together. They could’ve been a team and strengthened their relationship in the process.
It’s Kyle’s deception that’s going to be the real problem since this couple has already dealt with trust issues. Nevertheless, Kyle can’t change his terrible choice to lie to Summer ever since Theo’s secret spillage.
All Kyle can do is tell the truth now and hope that Summer will forgive him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will indeed come clean to Summer after his confrontation with Tara. Kyle will know it’s time to tell Summer what’s up before this turns into a big scandal and forces her to find out another way.
The week of March 1-5 will bring the rest of Kyle’s confession – meaning he’ll divulge the part about Harrison possibly being his three-year-old son. Summer will inevitably blow up over Kyle keeping secrets and will be pretty overwhelmed by news that Kyle may have a kid with another woman.
