The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) got the answer she was waiting for. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) told her that he hopes she doesn’t take the prestigious job offer in Baltimore, Maryland.
Elena was in love with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). But that relationship didn’t progress toward an engagement, as seemed likely. Instead, Elena and Nate were drawn to each other, they formed a couple, but then later broke up and have remained apart.
However, a very appealing option has been written into the story in recent months. Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) is Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) newfound sister. And Rose’s character smiled broadly the first time she saw Nate.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Has Moved On
Elena was totally conflicted when she was first becoming involved with Nate. It wasn’t something she was expecting. But attraction is like that.
Nate fell for Elena while she was still involved with his cousin. Devon was deeply hurt by the development and punched Nate, which caused him to fall and badly cut his hand. The outcome was bad, with Nate losing his ability to perform surgery.
But all of the above has faded into the background, as is often true in daytime. The plot advanced with Devon and Amanda’s bond deepening and now, the apparent re-start of Nelena.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Imani Benedict Is An Unknown Factor
All Nate knows about Imani is that she was very friendly toward him. He could see that she’s gorgeous and heard her say that she’ll be in town for awhile.
Basically, Y&R teased the potential for Imani to become Elena’s rival through the chance meeting at Society. Nate didn’t react toward her as he did Elena in the past. But the implication is obvious.
To-date, Imani’s backstory revolves around her family connection to Amanda. That will likely remain her focus until the Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) criminal case is resolved.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Needs Work
Dominic hasn’t had a lot of meaty storylines to work recently. So, the writing staff may be creating a triangle for him to become part of.
Elena projects as Nate’s wife and the mother of his children. However, Imani appears to have many equally engaging qualities, including her fierce defense of family and potential career in the law.
If Elena stays in town, then she and Nate will cross paths at work and during play. But Imani will have an opportunity to make her push as she begins to establish a reputation in GC.
