The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, December 28 Update – Lauren in Crisis Mode - Devon’s Overnight Baby Visitation

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 28, teases that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will want overnight baby visitation in writing – and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) trap secret will spill.

After Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) witnesses another “baby whisperer” moment between Devon and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), she’ll put Dom down for a nap.

Devon will mention that there’s something he wants to talk to Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about, so Abby will sense that trouble’s brewing.

Once Devon broaches the topic of seeing Dominic more often, Abby will try to shut the conversation down.

Abby will remind Devon that he’s welcome in their home anytime, but Devon will feel like he needs more.

After Devon explains his deep connection to Dominic, he’ll point out that Dominic can sense it, too.

Devon will think Dominic thrives at his penthouse and will want to put it in writing that he gets overnight visits.

Although Devon won’t initially discuss this as a matter of shared custody, Abby will think that’s what he means.

Devon will admit that “practically speaking” he’s asking for that, but he may suggest putting it in writing is just a formality to clear things up.

From Devon’s perspective, this will just be about giving Dominic some extra love on his own.

Devon won’t see the harm in that, but Abby will fret over Chance feeling even more disconnected from Dominic.

It’s not a great plan for Dominic to be bonding with a man other than his daddy right now.

Abby will be awfully quiet about Devon’s suggestion and will delay giving him a firm answer.

Once Devon exits, Chance might support the idea since he can’t seem to get a firm grasp on this whole father thing.

Regardless, Abby will have a bad feeling about entering into any kind of official custody arrangement with Devon.

At Society, Billy will pretend he’s intoxicated again, but he’ll get caught this time around.

Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will blast Billy for drinking and gambling like he always does when things don’t go his way.

Victoria will be fed up with Billy’s immaturity and will think he needs to man up for his kids’ sake.

However, Victoria will learn something fishy is going on when she takes a swig of Billy’s drink and discovers it’s apple juice, not liquor.

Billy will be forced to confess how he’s tricking Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) into thinking he’s a mess.

Once Victoria realizes Billy’s endgame, she’ll decide she wants to be a team player. That said, Victoria will only be willing to go along for the ride if she benefits as well.

While Victoria pitches her own role in the plot, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will take control of some drama that erupts.

Lauren has been known to put out some Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) fires, but this particular chance to take charge may involve her husband.

Y&R fans can expect Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to land in crisis mode as we head into 2022.

Michael will reexamine what he wants out of his career and life in general, so Lauren will be a huge part of helping him figure that out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren will prove she’s got a can-do spirit, so stay tuned.
