The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Monday, August 2 – Tara Needs Money ASAP – Victoria Grants Ashland’s Wish

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, August 2, teases that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will need money ASAP – and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will grant Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) wish. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also face an epic fail when she crashes and burns with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so here’s what Y&R viewers will see next.

In New York, Victoria will be impressed by Ashland’s penthouse – especially a famous painting she recognizes on the wall.

Ashland will admit he was always too busy to really even notice that painting. However, it’ll mean something to Ashland now that he knows Victoria likes it.

Ashland will have a brief spell of struggling to breathe, but he’ll offer reassurance when Victoria worries they shouldn’t have made the trip.

In the end, Ashland will decide he doesn’t want to bring anything from his old life into his new one – with the exception of the painting Victoria had her eye on.

Victoria will be pleased when Ashland fills her in on a phone call he had with his oncologist. She’ll learn that Ashland secured an appointment with the leading small-cell lung carcinoma specialist.

Ashland will want Victoria by his side when he meets Dr. Ferguson, so she’ll grant that request.

After Ashland showers Victoria with compliments, he’ll talk about the great things they could accomplish together. Even if their time is short, Ashland will want to feel alive in every moment he has left.

Back in Genoa City, Tara will act like the future’s unpredictable and won’t really know how Jack expects her to give reassurance.

Jack will want to know for certain that nothing’s going to come out and make him wish he hadn’t let Tara into his home, but she’ll put the focus on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and all her pot-stirring.

Next, Tara will have a meeting with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), who’ll fret over Jack seeming distracted. Lauren will go over some marketing ideas with Tara, who’ll be taken aback to learn Lauren wants her at the center of the campaign.

Lauren will think they can position Tara as someone who overcame her obstacles with grace and looked darn good doing it.

Nevertheless, there’ll be a problem since the accounting team will be missing some crucial documents. Tara will act like that’s strange since she had everything sent over, but she’ll promise to handle it swiftly for Lauren.

Tara will be eager to lock in this new source of income since the divorce is final and she’ll be needing money.

At Society, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will bicker with Sally, who won’t see why Phyllis should be believed over her.

When Kyle heads back to the Abbott mansion, he’ll get updates on the finalized divorce and Tara’s concern over Ashland putting all their old homes up for sale.

Tara will explain that Ashland is also liquidating what was inside and will whine about the love she put into those places.

Kyle won’t buy the sob story and will subtly taunt Tara about her homelessness – at least she’d be homeless without her current living arrangement with the Abbotts.

Tara will get upset over all the veiled accusations and attempts to figure out if she’s trustworthy. She’ll blast Kyle for listening to Phyllis and will push him to stop. After Tara declares that she can’t and won’t live this way, she’ll head upstairs looking upset.

Back at Society, Sally will be hopeful when Jack appears. She’ll make another pitch for why they should be together, but Jack just won’t budge.

For Jack, the main issue will be that even if the allegations against Sally aren’t true – they could be. Just knowing Sally is a schemer who’s capable of such things will be a deal-breaker.

Sally will feel like Jack’s not letting her live down her reputation. She’ll think this is about the JCV job rather than the security footage and will point out she got that position fair and square.

Summer Newman (Hunter King) pushed for Sally to take over – and Lauren can confirm that.

None of this will change anything for Jack, but Sally will keep pleading as she fights for another chance.

However, Jack will point out that he saw Sally’s true colors and tried to forget that he did. He just won’t be able to get past the mistakes Sally’s made since they’ve shaped his perception of her.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will welcome Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) back to town by getting steamy with him in a suite. Afterward, Nick will find out about all the chaos that’s gone down with Tara and Sally.

He’ll wonder if Phyllis has more than guesswork and circumstantial evidence, so she’ll get a bit agitated. Phyllis will want Nick to get fired up since this involves their daughter.

Nick will admit that if Sally and Tara truly drove Summer to Italy, then he’ll be mad about it. He’ll just doubt it since Summer seemed to be doing so well.

Phyllis will hint that it might’ve been an act and will suspect that Summer was put in a situation where she couldn’t fight back. She’ll want to quiz Angelina Marchetti (Cristina Serafina), who’s meeting with Eric Forrester (John McCook) in LA.

Nick will worry about how Summer will react to Phyllis secretly grilling her boss about something shady being afoot.

Phyllis will think she can tackle the matter carefully and won’t think she’d forgive herself if she let this go.

Since Phyllis will be determined to seek answers, but she’ll turn down Nick’s offer to accompany her on the trip. Phyllis will need Nick to stay in GC and monitor things for her.

Nick will urge Phyllis to come home with more than speculation, so she’ll vow to do just that.

In fact, Phyllis will promise to get enough to blow Tara and Sally out of the water! She’ll want to give Summer the opportunity to come back to GC.

As for Sally, she’ll bump into Phyllis and realize a trip’s happening. Sally will seem rather unnerved by what Phyllis is cooking up next.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis won’t rest until Sally and Tara are fully exposed, so keep watching! CDL’s where you want to be for exciting Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
