The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Monday, May 24 – Kyle’s DNA Samples – Tara & Harrison Move In – Phyllis Threatens Ashland

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 24, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will arrange for some DNA samples while Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) move in. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also threaten Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), so here’s what to expect in Monday’s thrilling show.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will spot Summer Newman (Hunter King) and wonder what she’s doing back from work so soon. Summer will admit she wasn’t getting much work done due to all the drama that’s going on with Kyle and Tara.

Summer will also mention Kyle’s plan to move Tara and Harrison into the Abbott house, so Phyllis will be taken aback. At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find out that Harrison is actually Kyle’s biological son.

When Jack assumes Tara just told him, Kyle will confess that he’s known for a couple months.

Kyle will bring Jack up to speed on Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) spilling the kid info to him before Tara confirmed it. Jack will seem surprised over Sally’s involvement, but Kyle will insist he never admitted to Sally that Harrison was his child.

As Jack realizes he’s a grandpa, he’ll seem upset over how Kyle almost let this ride and never let Harrison be part of the family. Kyle will feel like he was trying to protect his son, but now things have changed and he has to protect him another way.

Kyle will tell Jack about how scared Tara is that Ashland is going to get sole custody.

Jack will offer up the Abbott house to Tara and Harrison, so Kyle will confess he was going to suggest that. Jack will hope Kyle didn’t doubt for a moment that he’d agree.

Although this is a messy situation, Jack will ultimately be proud of Kyle for doing the best he could in every circumstance.

At the coffeehouse, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will sit down for another conversation with Ashland, who’ll want her thoughts on Kyle. Victoria won’t really know Kyle well enough to judge much about him, but she’ll think he’s a hard worker who seems levelheaded and smart.

After Victoria learns Ashland is divorcing Kyle because she cheated with Kyle, she’ll be sorry about that. Ashland will just be focused on Harrison, so Victoria will understand since children have to come first.

As for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll pry the truth out of Phyllis regarding Harrison being Kyle’s son. Nick will also track down Summer so that they can talk about that startling development.

Summer will assume Nick wants to blame Kyle, but she’ll defend her fiancée. When Nick warns that Ashland’s going to retaliate, Summer will choose to concentrate on supporting Kyle and sticking with him no matter what.

Back with Ashland, he’ll stop by the hotel again and hope he can convince Phyllis to make a delivery for him.

Ashland will have the judge’s orders, which will stop Tara from blocking access to Harrison. Phyllis will let Ashland know that Tara already left, but she won’t be able to say where.

Phyllis will also deliver a fierce threat about not doing anything to harm Summer. If Ashland dares to cross that line, Phyllis will make it clear that she’ll handle it herself outside the court system!

As for Tara, she’ll seem rather enchanted by the Abbott world. Tara will gush over Kyle’s generosity as he takes her to the Abbott mansion.

Jack will let Tara know it’s nice to see her again as well. He’ll want Tara and Harrison to feel as welcome as possible. Tara will smile and express surprise when she learns Jack grew up in that house just like Kyle did.

After Harrison comes in, he’ll tell Jack hi and sit down with a drink. Jack will think he’s going to enjoy having company in a big house – and he’ll hope Harrison’s willing to make plenty of noise like a little boy should.

In a moment alone, Kyle will call someone and make sure they’re all set to come over to get DNA samples for the paternity test.

Other Y&R spoilers say Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will bump into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so they’ll talk about the one-year clinic anniversary and end up going out for some burgers as well as shakes.

Nate will praise Elena over what a great doctor she’s become, so she’ll be glad she didn’t give up on that dream. Nate will feel the same way about his own career.

As they part ways, Elena will seem a little sad about the fact that they’re friends and nothing more. Across town, Amanda Sinclair (Karla Mosley) will fill Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in on her upcoming meeting at Newman Enterprises.

According to a newly found day planner, Richard Nealon had at least two meetings with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Amanda will think that’s suspicious considering Richard was so low level and Victor was the CEO. However, Amanda will admit she only has to prove reasonable doubt.

She’ll think it’s good that she has documented evidence of these Newman meetings when the prosecution can only claim Richard attempted to call Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) office.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor’s attorney will be present as he begins his recorded interview with Amanda. When Victor once again denies interacting with Richard, Amanda will smugly hint about having evidence to the contrary.

Amanda will hand over a pic of Richard to see if Victor remembers the face, and Victor indeed will.

It turns out Victor knew the guy as Rick – and his interactions were about Rick’s desperate attempt to find his missing child.

Due to Victor’s background and getting abandoned at the orphanage when he was seven, Rick figured his boss might be sympathetic to his situation.

Victor put Rick in touch with a private detective and promised his job would be there once he finished looking for his son or daughter. It’ll dawn on Victor that Rick died before he ever got answers, so Victor will think it’s a shame that his child never knew about the search.

Amanda will be visibly moved by Victor’s revelations – and Victor will notice. He’ll give Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) updates on how affected Amanda seemed by the story.

Nikki will think it’s so sad about Rick. She’ll wonder why a jury would think Victor had anything to do with Rick’s murder when he tried to help him locate his child.

When Amanda reconvenes with Devon, she’ll be distressed over everything she’s learned. Devon will find out Victor tried to help Richard find his missing child, though Amanda will note there was no mention of twins.

Amanda will assume neither Richard nor Victor knew about that part. Amanda was also too caught off guard to ask if Victor had any knowledge of Richard’s ex being connected to Sutton.

Once Amanda leaves Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) voicemail and pushes to meet again soon, she’ll continue to grieve for her father. The loss will really be hitting Amanda hard since Richard wanted her.

Amanda will feel like she could’ve been a family with Richard and Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) if someone hadn’t murdered her dad.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will vow to make sure the person who robbed them all of that future pays the price!
