The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 29, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be on a Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) mission while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) comforts Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) following a tough blow. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also tempt Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so let’s talk about all the hot drama ahead.
Word will start to spread about Ashland’s illness, so Billy will hear the latest buzz and want to include it in a story for ChancComm. However, Billy will know he needs all the facts first – and he’ll think Tara is just the person to give them.
When Billy pitches the idea of quizzing Tara about her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t like it one bit. He’ll feel like Tara’s been through enough and will just want Billy to leave this alone.
Billy won’t be able to resist pushing for answers, so Tara will pipe up to assure Jack that it’s all right. She’ll pretend she’s got nothing to hide and will play dumb about Ashland’s medical condition.
Billy will think Tara seems a bit insincere with this sweet act of hers. He’ll also suspect Tara knows all about Ashland’s diagnosis and is just choosing to leave him out of the loop.
Tara indeed knows Ashland is dealing with small-cell lung carcinoma and has only been given six months to live. She’ll try to respect Ashland’s wishes to keep that quiet, but he’ll still be upset over all the gossip that’s spreading around.
People will at least know Ashland’s sick – and he should first be alerted to that news on his phone.
Victoria will thankfully be with Ashland when he faces his latest setback and may point out there’s no need to worry.
Ashland has the merger all lined up, so it’s not like he has to pay any attention to the sharks that are circling. Victoria is quite possibly the biggest shark of all – and she’s firmly on Ashland’s team!
It’ll mean a lot for Ashland to have Victoria in his corner as he faces such a daunting battle.
Speaking of battles, Adam could face an inner one when Victor extends a tempting offer. Will Victor have some alternate revenge strategy to pitch?
Victor may still be stuck on going after Billy and making him pay, so that could leave Adam torn since this offer will be a great one.
On the other hand, Victor might propose some suggestion that ties in with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) or Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). There’s nothing more important to Adam than making sure his son copes with his mom’s ordeal.
Whatever the case, Adam will find Victor’s offer irresistible and apparently won’t be able to reject it.
Y&R fans can expect Adam to sink deeper under his father’s wing, which could be a good thing in some ways and a bad thing in others! As other info comes in, we’ll pass along updates.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will keep trying to reboot his life, so let’s hope Victor helps rather than hinders that goal.
