The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Tuesday, June 8 – Victor Defies Adam - Summer Stepmom Failure – Denise's Delivery

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 8, teases that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will feel like a soon-to-be stepmom failure while Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) the PI makes a delivery. As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he seems poised to defy Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and cause major conflict.

In her suite, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will welcome Denise in for another appointment. Denise was in a hurry last time around, but she’ll have more of her schedule to spare on Tuesday.

As the private investigator Richard Nealon contacted, Denise will have other information she can offer – namely about the child’s first foster parents.

Denise was able to give Richard the name and address of the couple who took in his little girl. After Denise spills everything she can remember, she’ll think it’s downright tragic that Richard’s daughter never found out about his search.

Denise won’t realize Amanda is tied to this case as Richard’s flesh and blood.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be there to support Amanda every step of the way – including when they go through the boxes that Denise drops off.

Denise will bring some of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis’ old belongings. That’s the sweet couple who took care of Amanda during the first few years after she was born.

Amanda will see some photos and keepsakes that move her to tears, but it’s the calendars that’ll bring a pang of regret. Richard’s name will be listed on one of them, so Amanda will compare that date with the date of Richard’s death.

If Richard hadn’t been murdered, he would’ve gone to that meeting, met Baby Amanda and perhaps have taken her home eventually.

Y&R spoilers say Devon will comfort Amanda as she continues to struggle. It seems like every time Amanda learns something, it brings another somber layer to this tragedy.

Devon will worry about the toll all this is taking on Amanda, but she’ll insist on honoring her commitment to Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) for now.

Meanwhile, Adam will voice more objections over Victor’s next course of action. Victor can barely contain his desire to go after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and destroy everything he’s built at ChancComm.

Adam wants to play it smart and wait on pulling the trigger, but Victor’s ready to drop a full-blown bomb!

This might turn into a situation where Victor decides he doesn’t need Adam’s approval to make his vengeful move. If Victor takes charge, it could leave Adam feeling like a pawn in his father’s game.

That’s not going to work for Adam, who wants to be his own man and head down a path of his own choosing.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer and Kyle will arrive for a good old-fashioned Abbott family breakfast. They’ll come bearing juice and pastries as they prepare to let Harrison meet Summer.

However, Summer has already talked about what a natural parent Kyle is. She doesn’t seem as confident about her ability to slide into that role.

This may be a confidence issue more than anything, but it seems Summer will indeed feel distant from Harrison. Summer will try to bond with the tot, but she’s probably going to fail for the most part.

Kyle may think they can try again later – perhaps when Harrison is in a better mood or feeling chattier.

Summer, on the other hand, may think she’s the problem. She’s not going to feel like almost stepmother material, especially when she compares herself to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) the wonder mom!
