The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may seek revenge for Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) heartbreak. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and ChancComm could easily be destroyed after Victoria’s split from Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Y&R fans know Victor already hates Billy’s guts and wants him to pay for the exposé he wrote on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
That’s a grudge Victor has never forgotten – and he’ll be even less likely to forget once Billy makes another move that causes Victoria pain.
Of course, Billy’s goal is actually protecting Victoria, but Victor doesn’t see eye to eye with him on that.
Victor already intervened in the Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) situation and paid the former lawyer to just go away.
At this point in the story, Victor doesn’t care what Ashland did in the past since Victoria’s current happiness is his priority.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been digging for answers as well, but it’s different when it’s Victor’s son and Victoria’s protective brother.
Victor can forgive Nick for stirring up trouble, but he feels like Billy only wants to rob Victoria of her joy and ruin her big day.
In Victor’s eyes, Billy is just a jealous, vindictive ex who doesn’t deserve respect.
Although Billy is surely right about Ashland hiding some horrible secrets, those secrets may not be enough to justify destroying Victoria’s bliss in Victor’s opinion. Even if they are, Victor may not be happy about how Billy goes about exposing them.
Victor will do his best to stop Billy from showing up at this wedding and creating chaos, but Billy might find a way to do it anyway.
If Victoria is publicly humiliated, that could be a big problem for Victor as well.
No matter how all the Ashland drama blows up, it’s just tough to imagine Victor giving Billy a pat on the back and offering his gratitude.
Y&R has spent a great deal of time letting Victor’s anger toward Billy grow – and Victor will be looking for someone to blame once Victoria’s devastated.
This could be what makes Victor decide to finally get true vengeance and annihilate ChancComm.
Even when Billy’s inevitably proven right about Ashland, Victoria’s still going to get her heart broken. That alone may convince Victor that Billy must pay!
