The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, April 28 Recap – Sick Faith Keels Over - Ashland New Man After Near-Death

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 28, reveals that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will battle concerns about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) walking into some sort of trap by meeting with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Locke).

Kyle will insist he knows Tara better than Summer and will add that he trusts her.

However, Summer will point out that Tara lied to Kyle before – prompting Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to push for details when he enters the Jabot boardroom.

Kyle will insist it happened years ago and has no relevance now. Jack will admit Tara’s intel could be useful, so Summer will trust Kyle to handle this and wish him luck.

At Society, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will tell Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about the theory Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) presented to him.

When Rey suggests that Sharon thinks Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) framed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Michael will admit he’s heard the theory elsewhere. He’ll wonder if Rey’s starting to think there might be some truth to it.

Rey will talk about how he stopped by the penthouse to pitch a plan to lure Adam out of hiding. Chelsea said something that stuck with Rey: “You’re not like us.”

Rey will think maybe that was an unconscious admission of guilt – like Chelsea was saying she was in the same league as Adam.

Rey will add that Chelsea’s miraculous recovery didn’t start until after Adam’s disappearance. He’ll think maybe it’s nothing, but Michael will push Rey to trust his instincts and follow up.

Rey will suggest he knows just where to start – and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will arrive after being summoned soon after.

Chloe will get agitated right off the bat and will argue that she’d tell Rey if she knew where Adam was. Rey will insist he’s hoping Chloe might’ve remembered something that could serve as new evidence.

Rey will keep asking questions until Chloe lashes out over the interrogation. Chloe will insist Adam is a monster who’s guilty because he’s always guilty!

Rey will talk about getting to the truth, so Chloe will take offense. “Are you accusing me of something – and if so, what?” Chloe will snap. Rey will urge Chloe to calm down and will see that he struck a nerve.

Chloe will push Rey to save his interrogation techniques for someone who deserves them – like the guy who poisoned Rey. The detective will look suspicious as Chloe storms out.

At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will admit to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he’s starting to worry about Adam since he still hasn’t heard from his son.

At the cottage, Sharon will keep lying to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) about the reason for Rey’s absence at the house. Sharon will also notice Faith doesn’t look the greatest, so she’ll ask a tough question.

When Sharon wonders if Faith might be hungover, Faith will assure her mom that she learned her lesson the hard way about drinking. Sharon will be proud of Faith for not overreacting and will agree Faith should go to school if that’s what she wants.

Faith won’t like the idea of seeming intimidated by any of the other students, so she’ll head to class despite feeling tired and queasy.

At Walnut Grove on Wednesday’s Young and the Restless episode, Faith will still seem sick as she stands by her locker. She’ll hide it when she offers to be Moses Winters’ (Jacob Aaron Gaines) tour guide since he’ll still be a bit lost in the maze of their school.

Later, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Faith will admit to Moses she hasn’t been feeling very well. However, Faith will think maybe it’s nerves about her first rehab session.

Back with Sharon, she’ll take a call from Adam. He’ll be in an alley somewhere, but he’ll insist that all Sharon needs to know is that he’s far away from Genoa City.

Adam will push Sharon not to worry and will claim he’s in a good place. “It’s like I am home yet somewhere new,” Adam will insist. He’ll talk about having a new perspective and wanting to apologize for his abrupt goodbye text.

Adam will understand why Sharon had to tell Rey the truth. Sharon will wonder how Adam knows she won’t have Rey trace the call, but Adam will insist he knows Sharon better than she wishes he did. Sharon will urge Adam to stop putting her in these complicated situations, but he’ll need one more favor.

Adam will want to check in with Sharon from time to time to see what’s going on with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Sharon won’t see why Adam should care what’s up with Chelsea, but he’ll argue that he can’t fully blame her for the mess.

Adam will blame his unexplainable pull toward Sharon instead and push her not to look for him. Adam will also warn Sharon not to tell Rey, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or even Victor that he called.

Later, Victor will stop by to see if Sharon’s heard from Adam, but she’ll insist she doesn’t know where he is. Victor will trust that Sharon will let him know if she does end up hearing from Adam.

At Crimson Lights, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will bump into Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) on the patio.

They’ll discuss Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) pregnancy and impending motherhood for Abby Newman-Chancellor-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) before talk turns to how much Esther misses working at the Chancellor house. Nina will excite Esther with the idea of working there part-time on occasion.

Once Kyle meets up with Tara on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll admit Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) surgery went well and his pacemaker seems to be working.

Tara will note that Ashland is set to be released from the hospital tomorrow. The doctors will let them know if Ashland is stable enough to travel since Ashland is eager to get back to Harrison Locke.

Tara will admit that it looks like Jabot is going to be just fine. She’ll argue that the heart attack was a blessing in disguise since Ashland is a gentler man now.

Kyle will worry this might be some sort of mind game, but she’ll feel confident Ashland is sincerely backing off Jabot’s plants and will restore the deal to make Jabot the sole advertiser on the health and beauty platform.

Afterward, Kyle will offer updates to Jack and Summer. Jack will admit that sometimes a near-death experience can change a person, but he’ll also acknowledge that it could be another ploy.

However, doing business with Ashland would help them rebuild after the crisis. Kyle will feel like it could be seen as hostile move if they turn Ashland down, so Jack will agree a deal with the devil must be made.

Sharon will bump into Rey at Society – and he won’t deny that he’s getting his coffee there to avoid her. Talk will turn to Adam’s case, but Rey will note that Adam’s innocence or guilt is not the issue. He’ll argue that the only reason Adam is gone from Sharon’s life is because he’s on the run from the law.

Rey will think that’s a big red flag that Sharon will never be able to get Adam out of her heart.

Back with Adam, he’ll see the news on his phone about the Cyaxares deal and consider calling Victor before changing his mind. At the coffeehouse, Nikki will chat with Tara and suggest that Billy misconstrued what happened with Victor. Tara will just want to go home and never come back to this awful town!

After Jack arrives and Tara exits, Nikki will get the feeling that something’s up. Jack will admit his issues are with Ashland and will insist that Victor should get out of that Cyaxares deal if he still can.

Next, Faith will join Nikki and Sharon after her first rehab session. Faith will battle nausea again and feel warm, so she’ll get up to splash cold water on her face before keeling over on the floor.

While Nikki and Sharon panic over Faith’s collapse, Kyle will overhear Tara on the phone talking about how much his mother and father love him. Kyle will look emotionally affected as he listens nearby.

At Jabot again, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will try to clear the air with Summer, but they’ll end up clashing as usual. Sally will feel like everyone else has been able to move past the mistakes they were previously judged for. She’ll be frustrated over feeling like the only one who isn’t getting another chance.

Sally will point out that she lost something huge – something that mattered to her a lot. “I lost the man that I’m falling in love with,” Sally will confess. Jack will eavesdrop nearby on Wednesday’s Young and the Restless episode.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Jack’s heart will be touched by Sally’s confession, but will it be enough to secure her another shot? CDL will have all the hot Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so check back often.
