The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 21, tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will make a bold move for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) confesses to someone. We’ll also see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) face off, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to on Wednesday’s show.
First, Tara will do a little more plotting and hope to kick things up a notch in her relationship with Kyle.
Tara’s trying to be patient and play this just right, but she’d obviously like to reel Kyle in as fast as possible. Tara will take a risk by making some sort of love power play, so Kyle should be rather taken aback.
If Tara tries to kiss Kyle, he might have to gently remind her that he’s not over Summer Newman (Hunter King) yet. Then again, part of Kyle might appreciate the distraction.
Whatever the case, Kyle should believe Tara has nothing but good intentions. He’ll defend Tara in the coming episodes, so he won’t suspect Tara’s to blame for driving Summer out of town.
Of course, that’s something Phyllis feels certain of, so that may be part of her upcoming confession.
Phyllis might admit to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that she’s working on Tara and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) joint takedown.
Since Phyllis is so convinced that they’re in cahoots, she’ll keep working to prove it and will hope to sink both of the schemers in the end.
Phyllis is a woman who always fights hard to get what she wants, so Sally and Tara had better watch out!
In the meantime, it looks like Victor will pay Victoria a visit and congratulate her in person at Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) request.
However, Victoria may not feel like Victor’s efforts are genuine. She’ll no doubt acknowledge the flowers Victor sent, but she won’t think that means she has her father’s approval.
Victor may admit he still feels betrayed on some level since Victoria joined forces with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) behind his back.
There’s also the matter of Victoria’s budding romance with Ashland, who just moved in her house.
Victor will likely voice his displeasure over Victoria bringing a dying man into her children’s lives – not to mention setting herself up for crushing grief.
Victoria will stand her ground as she faces off with Victor, so they won’t resolve their issues anytime soon.
