The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of December 20-24 teases that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will celebrate a miracle while St. Nick aka Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) carries out a mission. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also acknowledge an amazing gift, so let’s discuss Christmas in Genoa City.
For starters, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will wish someone a merry Christmas at Society. There’s a good chance Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will cross paths at some point, so that should highlight their awkward yet undeniable connection.
Jack will also spend some time catching up with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who’ll be back in town and ready to spread some holiday joy with her brother.
Meanwhile, Victor will have some great reasons to celebrate. He’ll share a toast with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as the two of them marvel over how far their relationship has come.
Victor is also on better terms with Nick again – and he loves seeing Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) so happy in her marriage to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Those are certainly some other reasons for Victor to be thankful this Christmas.
Of course, Victor will be grateful for his grandchildren as well, but it’s Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) who’ll earn the title of his most cherished gift.
Speaking of gifts, Abby and Chance have been given two big ones: their miraculous reunion and a special family addition.
Abby will express her gratitude over Chance beating the odds and coming back to her like he promised. She’ll also reflect on Dominic’s birth and how thrilled she is that they’re finally all together.
Chance will be appreciative, but he’ll continue to struggle with insecurities about being a good husband and father. It’s a miracle that Chance came home at all, but he has a long way to go before he can truly recover from his ordeal.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have a private Christmas celebration – and Y&R spoilers say Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will cozy up to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to celebrate, too.
As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll embrace Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as they continue to reconnect.
Connor will be over the moon about spending the holiday with both Chelsea and Adam, so they’ll come together to make it a Christmas to remember.
Nick will also put on a Santa suit and give out presents to children in need.
Nick will joke around with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), but he’ll certainly get serious about showing love to all the underprivileged kids in the community.
Once Nick’s good deed is done, he’ll accidentally fall asleep in Crimson Lights and have a wild dream in a standalone episode for Christmas Eve. We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R news emerges.
