The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of March 8-12 teases that we’ll see some huge revelations and major fallout. For starters, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will drop by Newman Enterprises with an important matter to discuss – no doubt related to Cyaxares, the media company Victor’s looking to buy from Ashland Locke (Paul Burgi).
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is against the idea since this is really about going after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but Victor intends to pull rank and do what he wants.
Once Victor shows up in Victoria’s office, she’ll think it seems like came to deliver some bad news. Victor will suggest that depends on how Victoria will react to what he has to say.
Of course, Victor will have to offer updates on his decision to move forward with the acquisition – and the fact that he wants Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to run the company. Not only that, Victor plans to have Adam report directly to him instead of Victoria.
This is going to feel like another slap in the face when it comes to Victoria’s leadership role at Newman Enterprises. Victoria is the CEO and feels she should be in charge, but that’s never going to happen as long as Victor’s living and breathing!
Victoria will also have issues with Adam being brought into the Newman fold again. Adam has proven he’s a damage magnet, so Victoria will voice her disapproval knowing it’s not going to accomplish anything.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will stand his ground, so Victoria will just have to deal with Victor’s latest decisions.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and some news he’ll need to pass along to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will seem uneasy as he talks to his father.
Jack will pick up on Kyle’s nervousness and will insist his son can always come to him. “If there’s something you need to talk about, the floor is yours,” Jack says in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Kyle could really use Jack’s support and guidance right now, so he may come clean about Harrison Locke and wonder what Jack thinks he should do about his three-year-old child. Jack may feel like Kyle knows in his heart that he wants to be in Harrison’s life.
Family is a big deal for Kyle just like it is for Jack, so Kyle can’t just walk away at this point.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will reach an exciting milestone in her recovery. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be floored when Chelsea manages to speak during their upcoming visit.
“Chelsea, you spoke! You said words!” Chloe exclaims in Y&R’s preview video for next week. “Shhhh…our…secret,” Chelsea whispers in a raspy tone. Chelsea obviously won’t want Adam to know how far along she is in her recovery, so Chloe should honor her friend’s wishes and keep her lips zipped.
Some of these scenes may play out on Friday, March 5, but the rest will be included in the drama for the week of March 8-12. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some bombshells are brewing on the CBS soap, so stay tuned!
