The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) might be willing to kidnap Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) and run with Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) son.
Could Ashland snatch Harrison as a last resort? He might if he feels like it’s the only way to keep custody of Harrison and shut Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) out for good!
Of course, Ashland will try to handle this through the court system first. He’s got tons of money and power to throw around, so he’ll hope he can hang onto custody rights and remain Harrison’s father figure despite the DNA results.
Tara knows Ashland is likely to punish her using Harrison, so she’ll brace for a negative outcome. Ashland has proven he can be ruthless and manipulative, so Tara understands exactly what she’s up against.
That’s why she’s pulled out the big guns and turned to Kyle as Harrison’s bio dad. Now Tara has an army of Abbotts backing her up – and the DNA results are on Tara’s side as well.
Ashland’s wealth and power may not be enough to overcome what he’s up against, especially if he keeps trying to push Tara out of the picture. That’s something Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) just can’t stand for.
Y&R spoilers say the battle between Tara and Ashland will get awfully explosive in the coming weeks.
Things will be intense and heated as the ex-lovers go to war. Ashland will be sticking around through at least the summer, but what happens if he exhausts all options and ultimately loses custody rights?
Since we know Ashland genuinely seems to love Harrison and doesn’t want Kyle or Tara to win, he’ll have some great reasons to bolt with the boy! It’s easy to imagine this story building to a scenario where Ashland abducts Harrison and tries to create a new life for him elsewhere.
Ashland has the kind of money and resources to make them both disappear with new identities in some faraway country.
Perhaps Harrison could vanish from the backyard when Kyle turns his back for a moment. It could lead to the realization that Ashland has taken the law into his own hands as well as a panicked search for missing Harrison.
That might be an excellent way to wrap up all the Ashland drama down the road. Ashland might be arrested for kidnapping and get carted off to jail following found Harrison’s safe return.
Whatever the case, Ashland is a dangerous man who’ll do anything to keep Harrison in his life. It’s safe to say that might include snatching Harrison, so it’s a possibility to consider depending on how things play out from here.
