Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) ghost will likely push Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to move on, so his wife’s blessing should lead to new love.
DOOL fans know Chad has really struggled since the night Abigail died.
Sometimes Chad can barely cope, so that’s led to him drowning his sorrows and indulging in self-destructive behavior.
However, Chad is trying to stay strong for his children and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
That’s easier with the help of supportive people – like Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), who returned to Salem not too long ago and has been stepping up to make sure Chad is OK.
Of course, Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) attack threw Chad into a tailspin all over again, but Sonny is thankfully out of the woods.
The best thing for Chad now is to get closure, so Days spoilers say he’ll try to achieve that by solving Abigail’s murder case.
After Chad pulls off that goal and contemplates revenge, he’ll get a visit from his soulmate.
Abigail will appear to Chad in ghostly form and praise him for solving the mystery.
That may also lead to Abigail advising against payback and pushing Chad to let her go.
Chad feels like he’s lost his other half and no doubt wonders if he can ever feel whole now.
Even so, Abigail won’t want Chad to doom himself to a life of unhappy loneliness.
Considering who Abigail was as a person and the type of advice she usually gave, she’s probably going to push Chad to move on.
Abigail might even comment on Chad’s connection with Stephanie and crack a few jokes.
It’s easy to imagine Abigail insisting that whether Chad finds love with Stephanie or someone else, he shouldn’t shut down that possibility.
Abigail may make this an official goodbye and urge Chad to open his heart again once he’s ready.
If Chad can accept the loss and perhaps put some of this anger behind him, he’ll have another shot at happiness.
The catch is Chad will have some competition since Stephanie is growing closer to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) despite her attempts not to!
Days recently put out a promo that featured some sizzling Alex and Stephanie moments, too.
Nevertheless, Stephanie will certainly find time for Chad and will share a kiss with him this fall.
