Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will face a murder scandal, so this accused killer could derail Paulina Price-Carver’s (Jackée Harry) campaign for governor.
DOOL put out an exciting Days preview video that shows Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) warning Paulina about a scandal involving her daughter.
Sloan tries to highlight the risks if a secret like this were to get out and may end up offering her services.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers say the secret will indeed be exposed.
At one point in the promo, Chanel finds the word “murderer” written in giant letters across the window of Sweet Bits.
Chanel also seems to understand what this means based on her reaction – like she realizes an old secret is finally catching up with her.
Of course, it’s doubtful that Chanel is an actual murderer, but she may have been responsible for someone’s death.
Chanel might’ve killed someone in self-defense – or considering Chanel’s party girl history, maybe she was partially to blame when things got out of hand at a bash.
There were probably some extenuating circumstances, but Paulina probably just threw money at the problem.
Paulina has been a self-progressed rich woman for many years, so she may have bribed a judge or paid off the victim’s family.
This might’ve turned into a full-blown cover-up that’s on the verge of unraveling now.
Chanel and Paulina obviously share a shocking secret, so the exposure could take a toll on both their lives.
Paulina may worry her campaign for governor will be kaput.
The stress Chanel faces could affect her relationship with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), too.
That’s especially true since Sweet Bits will clearly deal with some consequences.
Will anyone want to eat at the murderer’s bakery? Probably not when someone’s defacing the property to make Chanel out to be a monster!
