Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may shoot Clyde Weston (James Read) for this killer’s shocking exit. Will EJ finally make his enemy pay?
DOOL is working hard to make fans think Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) is the one who murdered Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and stabbed Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker).
It seems like Kevin Spirtas is even playing Craig creepier than usual to add to viewers’ suspicions.
However, it wouldn’t be much of a big reveal if Days spent so many episodes building to what they’ve already been hinting at.
Instead, it looks like the story will suddenly shift and reveal Clyde is the true killer.
It feels like a classic case of misdirection since Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) smelled vanilla – the same scent Sonny smelled before his stabbing – when he got close to Craig, but Clyde was conveniently standing within sniffing distance.
Plus, Clyde gloated in the September 20 episode about his iron-clad alibi.
That’s probably the setup for Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to discover the security footage that cleared Clyde has been doctored.
The week of September 26-30 will send Chad on a furious revenge mission, but EJ will ultimately rescue Chad from a serious situation.
As crafty as Clyde is, he could easily gain the upper hand on Chad and perhaps snatch his gun away from him.
Clyde might point a gun at Chad instead and insist that he can join Abigail in the great beyond!
Of course, it’s easy to imagine EJ leaping into action in a full circle moment.
Clyde may not have pulled the trigger on EJ all those years ago, but his henchman did. EJ blames Clyde for his “death” and the difficult years of recovery that followed.
Since EJ’s life was completely blown apart, Days spoilers suggest this could be his chance at payback.
EJ may save Chad from facing a bullet and then pump one in Clyde – paving the way for Clyde’s departure.
Clyde could die since there’s really no need to keep him alive without Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) in the picture.
Then again, Clyde could just be injured enough to land in the prison infirmary. Regardless, Clyde’s going down, and EJ may be the one to make sure of it.
