Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will sign Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) divorce papers and officially end their marriage. EJ will fail to convince his ex of Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) guilt, so he’ll feel he has no choice but to move on with his life.
First, Sami’s arrival will pump the brakes on the passion that’s building between EJ and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) – at least for a few minutes.
Although Sami should realize something’s going on between them, she may try to act like she doesn’t care.
Sami will probably be seething on the inside, but she’ll mostly focus on the divorce papers she needs EJ to sign.
After Sami admits she wants to marry Lucas, Days spoilers say it’ll deliver another crushing blow to her former flame.
EJ still loves Sami despite everything that’s happened and doesn’t want to see her marry the man who’s been lying to her all this time.
DOOL fans know Lucas is responsible for Sami’s kidnapping and EJ’s frame-up, so EJ will firmly believe that and try to convince Sami it’s true.
Sami will keep buying Lucas’ claims of innocence for now and think EJ’s just trying to cover up his own horrible actions.
Since Sami will stand her ground on this divorce demand, EJ will eventually get fed up and sign the papers.
Although EJ will act like he’s got a “goodbye and good riddance” mentality by then, officially losing Sami will hurt.
EJ and Sami were quite happy together once upon a time, so he’ll battle some heartbreak – even if he doesn’t really let it show.
In the aftermath, Days spoilers say EJ will try to concentrate on Belle and their own passionate spark.
Although Belle and EJ are using each other in some ways, they have genuine feelings for each other, too.
Of course, Sami may live to regret ending her marriage to EJ.
Once Lucas’ kidnapping guilt is exposed down the road, Sami will certainly get the rug pulled out from under her.
