Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) may be fooled by a Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) mask. It looks like Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) might pose as Rafe’s forbidden lover for some manipulative games and a loyalty test, so let’s discuss what’s next.
Based on other DOOL spoilers, Ava seems poised to impersonate Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) after getting in Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) old mask stash.
If Ava’s going to find those masks as expected, Days will surely let her use the Nicole mask, too.
During the week of January 17-21, Days spoilers say Ava will indeed manipulate Rafe somehow and play some twisted games to mess with his head.
What better way to do that than for Ava to don a Nicole mask?
The real Nicole will be busy confiding in Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) elsewhere, so that should keep her occupied while Ava has some fun.
Part of Ava might even consider forgiving Rafe if he passes her loyalty test.
Perhaps “Nicole” will throw herself at Rafe and suggest going another round on the conference table at Basic Black – just to see what he’ll do.
Rafe may wonder if “Nicole” is feeling OK and call her out on her bizarre behavior.
Rafe might also decline the steamy session since Nicole’s been dealing with EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) drama and feeling down on herself.
Rafe may think Nicole will regret having a rebound fling and point out she insisted on putting the original hookup behind them anyway.
Rafe might get agitated and argue that he was the one who wanted to pursue this romance, but Nicole insisted he should back off and stay with Ava.
If Rafe tells Ava the harsh truth of the situation while she’s wearing the Nicole mask, he could land in even more trouble.
Whatever the case, it certainly looks like Ava will mess with Rafe while impersonating Nicole.
Ava may plant a sloppy kiss or two in the process, but Rafe’s probably going to get weirded out and pump the brakes before things go any further.
Still, Ava’s sure to make Rafe ask what the heck is going on!
