Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may plan a Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) wedding, but will Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) become the groom instead as her memories flood back?
DOOL viewers know Sarah believes she’s Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) – and based on Days spoilers for the week of March 21-25, there may be concerns about her identity crisis becoming permanent.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will deliver some troubling news to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) regarding Sarah, so maybe she was away for too long.
Abigail got help for her own mental issues shortly after she was given the drug.
Sarah has been stuck on that island all this time, so her condition seems to be far worse.
Kayla may admit there’s no guarantee the real Sarah will ever come back.
Sarah has been forced into the mental ward, but her release is likely imminent if there’s no treatment that’ll work.
However, Xander won’t just throw in the towel on bringing Sarah to the surface.
Xander will even put his wedding to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) on hold while he deals with all this.
Meanwhile, Sarah will have a different wedding in mind.
Sarah’s been talking nonstop about Tony divorcing Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) so he can marry her instead.
“Renee” wants to get her own divorce from “Alex Marshall” aka Xander handled and seal the deal on the end of Tony’s current marriage.
Since Sarah is so delusional right now, she may soon become convinced that she’s pulled all that off.
Tony seems quite overwhelmed by Sarah in this terrible mental state and is trying to have some compassion.
That means playing along with Sarah despite Anna’s growing rage over this whole situation.
Once Sarah is free again, she may insist the divorce is in the works and start wedding plans.
To buy some time, Tony could easily argue they should have a lavish event and encourage “Renee” to plan it down to every last detail.
Tony may hold out hope that a miraculous cure for Sarah can be found or that Xander can somehow jog her memory.
There’s even a chance Tony could develop real feelings for “Renee” since he loved the real version many years ago – not to mention he’s having problems in his actual marriage to Anna.
Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Sarah is desperate for a Tony wedding and may not rest until she arranges one.
That could set the stage for Sarah’s memories to flood back on her wedding day – and then Xander could step up as the groom!
This could lead to Xander and Sarah having the nuptials they were always meant to have, which would be a dream come true for “Xarah” fans.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will do everything in his power to turn “Renee” back into Sarah, so stay tuned to DOOL.
