Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 3, reveals that TR Coates (William Christian) made an ominous promise while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) decided to make Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) pay. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) also had a family heirloom for Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), so here’s how all Thursday’s Days action played out.
At the Kiriakis mansion, eavesdropping Gabi continued to fume over “Jake” aka the devil in disguise.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) assumed Gabi would be upset over not running Titan, but “Jake” acted like he could handle her. “Jake” insisted everything was fine since HE was getting what he wanted!
At the Hernandez house on Thursday’s Days episode, the real Jake came home and hinted about his bright future with Gabi.
Ava noted that Gabi may not have paid for all her crimes, but she was still a killer with a good wardrobe as far as Ava was concerned.
After Jake left, Tripp arrived to fill Ava in on his marriage proposal plans.
Ava was sorry for projecting her own relationship drama on Tripp before and was happy for him.
Ava even offered up an engagement ring that her grandmother gave to her before she died.
Tripp was thrilled and hugged Ava once she confirmed she was sure about handing over the family heirloom.
Once Ava was alone, she looked at a picture of herself with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
Ava said Rafe threw their chance at living happily ever after away and insisted he’d have to pay for that.
Meanwhile, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) ran into Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), who admitted she thought Ava was the one who set Rafe up to get arrested.
Nicole suggested she thought Ava was targeting her, so Allie finally got the picture and realized some cheating had gone down.
Nicole assured Allie it was just the one time, so Allie understood.
Since Nicole was operating on a hunch, she pushed Allie to keep this under wraps – though she hated asking Allie to keep secrets from Tripp.
Nicole wanted to prove Rafe’s innocence, but she couldn’t exactly go rummaging through Ava’s things.
Allie suggested she could do it, but Nicole was reluctant to put her in that position and suggested Allie would never betray Tripp like that.
In the town square, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) bickered about whether Chanel should come on the sudden Miami trip.
Chanel rattled off a list of reasons she should stay, including being contractually obligated.
Paulina freaked when she found out about Chanel’s conversation with TR, who was threatening a lawsuit to make sure Chanel still participated in the possession movie.
Chanel said TR mentioned that he went way back with Paulina, so Paulina got increasingly nervous.
Once Chanel admitted she told TR that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) was her sister, Paulina made it clear that Chanel should pack for the trip and took off.
At Lani’s apartment on Thursday’s DOOL episode, TR came in and shared how he connected the dots.
TR thought he was Lani’s biological father, but Lani insisted her bio dad was a man named Ray.
After TR confirmed that was him, Lani unleashed a tirade over how TR treated Paulina.
Lani noted that TR had been abusive to the point that Paulina had to give her daughter away out of fear.
Once Lani insisted she already found a wonderful father, TR said he was glad about that.
However, TR still wanted a chance to get to know Lani. He argued that he got off drugs and got sober.
Between that and therapy, TR assured Lani that he was a changed man.
Lani wasn’t interested in bonding with TR – and once Paulina appeared, she threw her snake of an ex out.
TR knew he’d missed a lot of years, but he said he’d whatever it took to be a father to Lani – and that was a promise. He seemed rather menacing as he left, so it was more like a threat!
Once Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) wrapped up his Jake trick, he found Gabi and gave her a pep talk.
Gabi ranted about how “Jake” threw her under the bus, but Johnny thought they should turn the tables and play Jake until they got his shares away from him.
Gabi decided she liked that plan and told Johnny that she’d be in touch.
When Gabi met up with Jake, she seemed tense – but she was careful to keep a tight lid on her new plot against him.
Back with Allie, she found Chanel and got updates on Paulina’s push for a Miami trip.
Chanel thought maybe it’d be good to get away from everything after all, so Allie assumed she was included in that.
Chanel assured Allie that she only meant all the Johnny drama and added that this had nothing to do with them sleeping together.
Devilish music played as Johnny eavesdropped on Chanel and Allie nearby.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Johnny will indeed use what happened between Allie and Chanel against them down the road.
