Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, January 13, teases that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will stay at her Italy hideout while Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) has a Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) clue for Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will also go to war for EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerrigel) sake, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
Kristen is on the run from the law and has hidden in Italy before, so that’ll serve as a good place for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to start.
Some undercover work is on the way at the convent, where Kayla will pose as a nun to gain admission eventually.
Although Kayla and Steve won’t gain full access to the nunnery just yet, they’ll make progress as they work together to find Kristen.
In the meantime, Abigail will be busy trying to track down Sarah. She’ll score a new lead on Thursday, so it looks like it’ll come through the DiMera Enterprises travel department.
Abigail will love the idea of being a step closer to finding Sarah and reuniting her with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
After Abigail updates Xander, they’ll get ready to speak with the DiMera pilot in the coming episodes and try to nail down where Sarah was taken.
Gwen isn’t going to be happy over the positive developments in the Sarah search, but Days spoilers say she’ll turn her attention to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) in the meantime.
That means listening as Ava comes clean about a secret she’s been keeping under wraps.
Ava obviously made sure Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) faced those complaints at work about planted proof.
Ava also beheaded Duke the teddy bear and left the pieces on Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) desk, so Ava may confess to all that and gloat to Gwen.
However, Days spoilers say Ava has more tricks in store – perhaps even a couple involving some of Kristen’s old masks.
It looks like Ava may impersonate both Nicole and Sarah if everything goes according to plan during the week of January 17-21.
Regardless, let’s talk about EJ’s tense trial. Belle finally agreed to represent EJ, but she’ll face some trouble as she fights DA Melinda Trask in court.
Between EJ’s temper and the witnesses that are set to take the stand, Belle may have signed on for more than she bargained for.
That’s especially true since the devil himself will be in that courtroom.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) vowed to support EJ, but he’ll actually want a front-row seat to the mess he intends to make. The devil may set Belle up to fail big time, so don’t miss what’s ahead on DOOL!
