Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap review for the week of November 7-11 reveals that Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) murder mystery had a big flaw while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) took a sad step back. Let’s talk about some hot Days drama and the tricky situations these Salemites have landed in.
It was exciting for Chanel to get arrested on suspicion of murder, especially since it came on the heels of Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) victory as governor.
However, we can’t help but feel like there’s one thing that would make the story better.
DOOL fans still don’t know the exact circumstances of Chanel’s stunning secret, but it feels like we should by now.
We can assume that we’ll be sympathetic once the story is told, but we’d rather know for sure Chanel deserves our compassion.
Until viewers hear the complicated tale surrounding this death, it’s tough to get invested.
Days writers are clinging too hard to this secret, especially now that Chanel has been thrown in lockup and could be facing a trial.
The sooner this deadly shocker is revealed, the better at this point!
That said, Chanel’s storyline involves a lot of interesting characters and has great potential once more revelations come to light.
Of course, we have to acknowledge the fact that Paulina was keeping yet another major secret from Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
It was kind of refreshing for Abe to just accept that Paulina is a secretive woman and support her rather than slamming her with disappointment..
As for Chad, he did the right thing by taking a step back from Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) despite his feelings for her.
Chad just isn’t ready to rush into another relationship since he’s still grieving the loss of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).
Even so, part of Chad already looks like he regrets passing up this chance.
We applaud Chad for not stringing Stephanie along and making her wait around, but it’s still sad to see him miss out on romantic happiness.
Stephanie is now willing to give Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) a shot, but will she find herself drawn to Chad again down the road?
Time will tell, but Days has an angsty love triangle that they can get some serious mileage out of.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad and Stephanie will remain in each other’s orbit, so stay tuned to see if temptation will eventually grow.
