General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker hauntings could resume. Will Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) torment Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) ex after her secret survival?
For starters, we should point out that many characters have survived the fall off the parapet. Ava even offered herself as exhibit A for why it’s possible.
There’s been no news about Avery Kristen Pohl leaving the show either, so it’s safe to assume that Esme is alive and will return when the time is right.
Of course, we might see signs of Esme’s comeback before she’s even onscreen again.
Esme helped Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) torment Ava through a stalker plot as part of her introduction to the canvas.
GH fans will recall all the messed-up incidents that Esme and Spencer were behind – like putting Ryan’s voice inside Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) teddy bear.
The most horrific incident had to be when Esme took it upon herself to set Ava’s car on fire and plant dead Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) hospital badge under it.
Esme did that to throw suspicion off Spencer, but her actions were despicable and deeply unsettling to Ava.
Now that Esme is missing, GH writers have another stalker opportunity.
Esme is the kind of person who likes inflicting pain, especially due to Ava and Ryan’s former connection.
There’s a chance some other strange happenings could occur – leading Ava to wonder if Esme is haunting her in death or stalking her once again in the flesh.
Esme might torment Ava before revealing herself and demanding a deal unless Ava wants to go down for attempted murder.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) pointed out that it’s Ava’s word against Esme’s, but Ava looks awfully guilty now that she’s launched this cover-up with Nikolas.
Regardless, Esme has vanished and will need a grand reentrance to Port Charles.
If Esme’s feeling vengeful and perhaps wants to make Ryan proud with another round of Ava torture, she might start up the stalking again.
That’d be an interesting way to build to the big reveal of Esme being alive and well! As other details become available, we’ll bring you updates.
