General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may crash a poker game at The Savoy, so Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) new man may already be on Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) bad side.
Of course, Cody is currently on Britt’s bad side as well after that disastrous grand entrance.
Drunk Britt wasn’t happy about tumbling into the pool at the Society Setups mixer, but Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was really the one to blame for that.
Since Spinelli is secretly behind all the matchmaking drama and paid Cody to make a big splash, it’s not really Cody’s fault that it went awry.
What matters now is the road Cody’s headed down – and it may be a risky one based on the latest spoilers.
On June 16, Britt will get some attention she doesn’t appreciate. That might be from Cody if he bumps into Britt and recalls helping her go for an impromptu swim.
It’s easy to imagine Cody pushing Britt’s buttons, even if he’s mostly flirting with her. Then again, it’s also possible Britt will have some other unwanted interest.
Cody might get a heroic moment where he tells some other sleazy guy to get lost – leaving Britt a little more appreciative of him than she was before.
Whatever the case, Britt often spends her nights at The Savoy along with anyone else looking for fun in Port Charles.
June 16 will also bring an unexpected player to the poker game happening in the backroom.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will alert Selina to someone who’s crashed the party, which could leave her riled up.
That someone just might be Cody, who’s got a troubled past that could easily include a gambling problem.
Regardless, Cody is clearly someone who likes to take risks, so that could land him at Selina’s poker table and put more on the line than he realizes.
Selina isn’t someone you want for an enemy, but Cody could end up on the list along with Britt.
It’s also possible that Selina already knows who Cody is and doesn’t like him.
We know that Cody’s going to have some other surprise connections in Port Charles, so maybe this isn’t the first time he’s crossed Ms. Wu!
No matter how this plays out, it makes sense for GH writers to throw Cody into the mix with Selina, Brad and Britt for a new storyline.
