General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, August 5 Update – Sam Needs Help – Martin Fights for Sasha – Alexis’ Wager Outcome

General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, August 5 Update – Sam Needs Help – Martin Fights for Sasha – Alexis’ Wager Outcome

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 5, teases that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will need some investigation help while Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) fights for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as her attorney. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will also announce the wager outcome, so here’s what viewers can expect.

At the Metro Court pool, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will find Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who’ll seek updates on whether he might be able to return to work.

Dante probably won’t be able to offer much info on that, but he’ll sense that Chase has some new career opportunities in the works.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) plans to transform Chase into a popstar and take down Linc Brown (Dan Buran) in the process.

Dante will pick up on some red flags and call Brook Lynn out on her con, so she’ll have to deal with his questions and perhaps promise it won’t backfire on Chase.

Of course, that may not be a promise Brook Lynn can keep, but she’ll at least try to avoid dragging Chase into another disaster.

Speaking of disasters, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will apologize once more for his nightmare of a date with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Although Cody will want a fresh start, Britt will wish he’d take the hint that she’s not interested and let it go.

However, that just isn’t Cody’s style, so Britt will have to listen and consider his new date proposal.

Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will probably be cringing nearby since he knows Cody and Britt aren’t a good match based on his algorithm.

Spinelli will try to steer Britt away from Cody within the next couple episodes, but he’ll have to contend with Sam’s request in the meantime.

There’ll be a case that Sam needs some help investigating, so Spinelli will listen to her pitch and decide if he’s in.

Spinelli will also discuss a dead end with Sam, who may pump him for info on his strange behavior – especially when it comes to his weird disdain for Cody.

Although Spinelli may push Sam to drop it, she’ll realize there are secrets to uncover.

Other GH spoilers say Sasha’s arrest news will make some serious waves.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will fret over yet another crisis for Deception and may think they should give Sasha the boot from the company.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) may worry that losing her job will send an already fragile Sasha even further over the edge.

Unfortunately, Sasha is about as close to rock bottom as you can get and doesn’t need the pressure of the spotlight anymore.

Lucy, Maxie and Brook Lynn will discuss this tricky Sasha situation, so we’ll see what they decide.

Perhaps Lucy will suggest demoting Sasha to a behind-the-scenes role as a compromise. It might be for the best since the Face of Deception has become synonymous with scandal.

Meanwhile, Martin will step up as Sasha’s lawyer, but he’ll confess the options are limited when it comes to keeping Sasha out of prison.

Sasha truly belongs in a facility where she can receive mental help, so let’s hope Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) can work that out with Martin backing him up.

Finally, it’ll be time to see whether Alexis or Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) won their bet at The Invader.

The outcome could bring more bickering, but it’ll also bring a chance for Gregory and Alexis to grow more intrigued with each other.

General Hospital spoilers hint that an Alexis and Gregory romance is brewing, so they should keep inching in that direction no matter how their wager turns out.
