General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 23, teases that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) rage will grow while Diane Jenkins (Carolyn Hennesy) lands in danger. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also get creative, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Sonny will fume over his loved ones potentially being under attack.
It looks like Sonny will be mad at himself for letting his guard down and downright furious with the person responsible.
Diane will listen to Sonny vent and offer some advice, but it looks like she could be next on the hook killer’s agenda.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will make a grisly discovery once Monday rolls around, so Diane might be attacked on Friday’s episode to set the stage for that.
Until then, Alexis will listen to Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) problems and offer some advice.
Although Nikolas won’t be very impressed with Alexis’ suggestion, he’ll hear her out and decide how to handle things in his broken marriage.
At the hospital, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will be surprised by Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) stance.
It’ll seem like Nina is nudging Ava toward a reunion with Nikolas, so Ava will have to wonder why.
Nina is a romantic at heart, so she may admit she still sees love between Ava and Nikolas – even if it’s the twisted kind.
If there’s still a path to happiness with Nik, Nina may think Ava should at least try to take it.
Next, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will remain shocked and distraught over losing Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
As Sasha tries to process Brando’s death, she’ll also have to consider her own legal fate.
Sasha will wonder if she’ll be going to prison now that Brando can’t serve as her guardian.
Fortunately, Sasha can still get a court-appointed one, which would be for the best since prison is no place for someone as fragile as this devastated widow!
On The Haunted Star, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will keep up her efforts to score information from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), but she’ll be playing with fire.
Victor will talk about the importance of honesty as well as the consequences should Lucy choose the path of deception.
Valentin and Anna have made it on the ship, but Johann (Max Decker) could be a problem since he’s armed and on the hunt.
Thanks to the noise Johann heard, he’ll come dangerously close to finding Anna and Valentin.
However, Valentin may be able to talk his way out of trouble, even if Johann finds him with Anna.
There’s also a chance Anna and Valentin will avoid Johann entirely, but the point is a little creativity will go a long way.
Once Valentin is forced to improvise with Anna, sparks will fly.
Anna and Valentin might have to hide out in a private room for a while, so they could find steamy ways to occupy their time.
Back at GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will give Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) updates on her latest hypnosis session.
Liz was able to remember the woman at the bottom of the stairs and sketched her face, so she should show Finn soon enough.
The weird part is this woman looks identical to Reiko Finn, who was Finn’s late wife.
Reiko died of Blackwood’s syndrome according to Finn, so this staircase fall seemingly didn’t kill her all those years ago.
No matter how this adds up, it’s bizarre that Liz and Finn share this link. Is Finn keeping secrets that’ll ultimately be revealed?
