General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, August 29, teases that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will throw Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) out before wounded Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) begs for help. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will also face a daddy dilemma, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
First, Mac will continue to dwell on Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) past and how he might fit into it.
Based on Mac’s intense stare and his decision to conceal his romantic relationship with Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson), he obviously thinks he might be Cody’s bio dad.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will help Mac consider the idea, but Mac may remain adamant about keeping this under wraps.
Since Mac can’t know anything for certain at this point, he won’t want Cody to be privy to his true history with Dominique.
In the meantime, Cody will lash out at Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for constantly pushing him away.
It looks like Britt will reject Cody’s kiss, so he won’t get why she’s resisting their spark.
Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll stumble upon intoxicated Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and provide some guidance.
Spencer may admit Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) did the unthinkable and slept with his then-girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Finn may admit he’s been part of a similar betrayal.
We can’t forget that Finn slept with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
To make matters worse, Finn let Gregory think he was the reason for their estrangement in the decades that followed.
Now that Finn has patched things up with Gregory, he may urge Spencer to keep an open mind about forgiveness or risk causing himself more sorrow.
Next, Nikolas will find Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in distress.
Liz will panic since she apparently entered a dissociative fugue state again – and now she’s got a head wound she doesn’t remember getting.
Nikolas will do his best to calm Liz down and will find out about her issues with Finn.
Although Nikolas will understand why Elizabeth is upset, he may think help her see that Finn only wants to help.
Since Josslyn will be at the Quartermaine mansion on babysitting duty, she’ll act like some kind of guard dog when she spots Nina. Josslyn will make it clear that Nina isn’t welcome and won’t be getting anywhere near Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
Nina will explain the whole dessert debacle, but Josslyn won’t care and will kick her right out.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will ultimately get updates on all this and fly into a rage over Nina consistently getting treated like dirt.
After Sonny voices complaints about his family members and their collective attitude toward Nina, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have a deep conversation with him.
Sonny may have to accept that when it comes to peace, it may not be possible for some people.
Back with Josslyn, she’ll reel when she finds Ava bleeding after that hook attack. Ava will deliver a desperate plea and won’t want to be left alone.
If Josslyn has her phone with her, she should be able to call 911 right next to Ava. If not, Josslyn may assure Ava that she’ll be right back with paramedics.
Either way, Josslyn will come to Ava’s rescue and make sure she gets to GH for treatment.
Ava will be clinging to life by the time she arrives at the hospital, so Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will hear the news and quiz Spencer.
Since Spencer will be missing some memories due to his drunkenness, Victor will worry that he might’ve tried to kill his stepmother.
Spencer will deny that despite not knowing for sure and will hurl some deadly accusations of his own at Victor.
General Hospital spoilers say Mason (Nathanyael Grey) will also be a stabbing suspect – at least to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) since he knows his cousin wanted to deal with her.
It sounds like Ava’s ordeal will bring some curveballs, so stay tuned!
