General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, December 26, teases that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will move forward with their faux romantic act. Spencer and Trina will set Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) trap, so they’ll hope it’s enough bait to reel her in.
Unfortunately, Trina and Spencer can’t put on a show for Esme when she’s behind a locked door at Wyndemere.
Esme has a plot that she hopes will ensure her freedom, but she won’t be ready to carry out the next phase just yet.
However, Heather will see a shocking sight on Monday’s episode, so there’s a chance she’ll witness a warm “Sprina” moment and get angry on her daughter’s behalf.
Heather certainly wants to make those who have wronged Esme pay, so Spencer and Trina could still put themselves in extra danger.
Whatever the case, Heather will be at GH for one last checkup ahead of her D’Archam return.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will arrive and engage in an intriguing conversation with Heather, which will involve her efforts to remain at Spring Ridge.
Heather will tempt Dante by promising she can lead him to “The Hook.”
We’ll see Heather play along with the idea that it could be Esme, so she’ll vow to score details from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) since they get along so well.
Dante will deliver the news of Heather’s proposition, so Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will take that same pitch to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and get the DA to sign off.
Heather will feel victorious after she negotiates her way to staying at Spring Ridge a little longer.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) seems poised to step down as Terry Randolph’s (Cassandra James) co-chief of staff.
Terry may try to talk Britt out of her decision, but Britt’s mind will be made up.
Although Britt might pretend she has another position lined up in Boston, Terry may see through her lie.
Nevertheless, Britt may not be keen on spreading the truth about her Huntington’s disease – even to Terry despite knowing she’d offer support.
Over with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), he’ll feel like a hopeless loser.
Cody will hate how badly he blew things with Britt, so he’ll wish he could go back and make some updates to his strategies.
It’s not entirely Cody’s fault since Britt is dealing with some heavy stuff that he’s not privy to.
Even so, Dante may contend that Cody should work harder to win Britt’s heart and make something happen for himself.
GH spoilers say Cody will get some encouragement and could perhaps make one last attempt at a future with Britt.
