General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, February 14, tease that a Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) ban will stun Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) while Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) sparks fly. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also have a surprise encounter, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
At Spring Ridge, Esme will show up to lift Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) spirits.
Esme will hope to make this a nice Valentine’s Day surprise, but she’ll grow frustrated when Spencer mostly asks about Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Esme will also get some bad news when she tries to visit Ryan.
Esme will expect to be able to spend time with Ryan as usual, but she’ll find out her access has been restricted – and that Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is to blame.
Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will talk about someone coming home sooner than planned.
Perhaps TJ will really just be trying to steer Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) in the direction of his grand gesture for Valentine’s Day.
TJ will indeed have one – and Molly will definitely be impressed.
Speaking of being impressed, Terry certainly likes what she sees at the bar. She knew her blind date would be wearing a teal shirt, so now she assumes Chet is her mystery man.
However, that’s clearly not the case since Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) was just hinting to Chet about needing to get back out there and find love again.
It’s easy to see the pieces coming together for a blind date gone wrong – yet maybe one that goes right, too.
In other words, Chet won’t start out as Terry’s real date, but he should become her date by the end of the night.
Terry will talk about how she isn’t disappointed and may end up embarrassed when she realizes her mistake.
Even so, Chet and Terry will feel a spark, so it should be fun to see how their evening plays out.
In the meantime, Kevin will tell Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that good things come to those who wait.
Kevin will apparently set the mood for romance and please Laura in the process.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will also join Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for a night on the town.
It’s a bit of a gamble to be seen together since Selina Wu (Lydia Look) warned Britt away, but Brad will suggest they should make the risk worth it.
Perhaps Brad will enjoy people-watching with Britt and making fun of the overly sappy patrons on Valentine’s Day.
Next, Carly will cross paths with Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) at the Metro Court.
Carly will insist they have so much to catch up on, so that’ll lead to Felix getting updates on Carly’s crumbling marriage.
Felix will ultimately make a big decision, so what will that decision be?
It’s possible Felix will reach out to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and try to help, but it’s equally possible Carly will help him take stock of his own love life.
Maybe there’s a chance Felix and Brad could give their own romance another try.
As for Carly, she’ll take Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) advice to really consider her options before she rushes into this divorce.
Unfortunately, Carly doesn’t realize she put the divorce lawyer meeting on the phone calendar she shares with Sonny for Donna Corinthos (Ava Rose) and Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Now Sonny is upset over Carly moving so fast – and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has just walked in the pub.
Although Nina resolved to give Sonny space, fate always seems to bring them together.
Sonny may mention Carly’s divorce attorney meeting and express even less hope that his marriage will survive.
Nina will talk about how they both know she has a vested interest in how things play out with Carly, so she may go deeper with Sonny and discuss the possibility of their own future.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also make time for a Valentine’s Day celebration, so love will be in the air!
