General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 11, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will realize her only option while Michael Corinthos’ (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) downfall thrills Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also make a confession, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Preemptions have caused some delays and pushed back multiple episodes, so it’ll just now be the Fourth of July in Port Charles.
However, there’ll still be plenty of fun and fireworks, so it seems Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will encourage Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to relax ahead of her trial.
That could prove difficult since Trina will grow increasingly nervous about her fate, but Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will do his best to lift her spirits.
At Crimson, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will show up to see Nina, who’ll congratulate him on his big win at ELQ. Nina will admit she enjoyed someone telling Michael he couldn’t have everything he wanted.
However, Valentin will want to talk about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), so that could lead to a discussion about the financial hit she took and how she lost her half of the Metro Court.
Despite the feud between them, Nina feels guilty about her Nixon Falls secret and how Carly found her in Sonny’s bed. Perhaps this conversation with Valentin will lead Nina in the direction of trying to make up for the past.
Valentin will allude to some changes he’s trying to make as well – though he probably won’t spill too much regarding Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and the jam he’s stuck in.
Nevertheless, Nina will offer some advice and most likely get some in return. A little later, fans will find out that Nina has purchased the Metro Court to offer as a peace offering to Carly.
In the meantime, it looks like Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will meet with Carly again and try to nail down a solution.
Carly will feel like there’s only one option left, but she won’t be counting on Nina to come along and snatch up the Metro Court as part of her own plan!
Other GH spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will corner Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and push for some answers.
This could lead to Spencer facing backlash for the chaos he caused at the pool recently.
Spencer will deal with Sonny’s questions and have a lightbulb moment thanks to this tense conversation, so he may realize something he can use to get Trina off the hook.
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will be problematic as usual for Spencer, who’ll rattle off reasons why they shouldn’t do what Esme has in mind.
That could involve a fireworks event if Spencer suspects Trina and Josslyn will be around. Spencer may think they should avoid a repeat of what happened at the pool and opt for a different activity instead.
Then again, Spencer might already be thinking ahead to Trina’s trial and trying to keep Esme from making a bigger mess at it.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will also spend some time chatting with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) poolside, but he’ll soon turn his attention to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Although Cody will be tickled pink of their Society Setups match – the one he apparently arranged by blackmailing Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) – Britt obviously won’t be as happy about it.
There’ll be more bickering, but Britt does seem to be growing more intrigued by Cody. The doc would never admit that, but Cody will hope that he’s reeling her in anyway.
Britt will also spend some of her evening tagging along on Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) date. Austin and Maxie will try to have a romantic picnic, but that plan won’t work out very well due to several obstacles.
In addition to Britt, Spinelli will pop up and most likely offend Maxie with his usual disapproval of Austin.
Meanwhile, Austin will sneak off to deal with a troubling phone call – one involving a mystery man that he met with in the Pautuck woods.
Willow and Michael’s Fourth of July won’t go according to plan either, so that could mean they’ll bump into Sonny at some point.
GH spoilers say Willow will make a confession, so maybe Sonny will get updates on her pregnancy bombshell.
Whatever the case, it looks like the news of Willow’s bun in the oven is about to spread in PC.
