General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may have a showdown at Charlie’s Pub. Peter’s escape should bring grave danger, so let’s talk about how things might play out.
During the week of January 17-21, several new spoilers point to serious police business and a possible Peter crisis.
For starters, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will face a surprising interruption.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also be terrified over something she hears – all while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) grows more and more distressed.
The news of Peter fleeing police custody could be the interruption, which would certainly terrify Brook Lynn and distress Maxie.
However, it’s this next part that’s especially interesting. General Hospital spoilers say the situation at Charlie’s Pub will get worse.
There are hints about this situation escalating, which is intriguing since the show used the same sort of language in spoilers when Peter set fire to The Tan-O.
At the time, GH released vague teasers about “situations” and things growing desperate.
We’re getting déjà vu with these new spoilers, which are basically the same except for swapping Charlie’s in for The Tan-O.
There’s a chance Peter will want to finish what he started since Nina made it out alive.
Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) may also be at risk if Peter offers a repeat performance.
Peter might even plot another fire, but the point is things are going to get chaotic at Charlie’s Pub – and Peter is the person most likely to bring that chaos.
It looks like almost everyone else in Port Charles will be busy at Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) wake, so Peter will have the perfect opportunity.
Of course, there might be a new angle to work if Peter manages to figure out the truth and kidnap “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).
Nina’s redemption is coming sooner or later, so she could stand up to Peter and try to get Louise back if he’s got her by then.
Regardless, there’s the potential for Sonny to be alerted to trouble and come to Nina’s rescue like he did in Nixon Falls.
Charlie’s Pub will become a dangerous spot no matter what, so it could easily be because Peter’s reign of terror lands there.
